Weight i guess? Guys Only
Okay, Why do guys care so much about a girls weight? Like skinny isnt in right now..and yeah thats a fact if ya believe it or not..most guys want meat on their girls bodies but why would they care? Like, I want a fit guy but a want some meat on him..i dont want him to be all ugh. I just wanna kno why they care!!??

Most decent guys I know don't care about how much a girl weighs, as long as they are healthy. Mostly I find it is the GIRLS that care so much. Ask any girl what she thinks of her body, and the chances are pretty high that she'll say "I'm so fat!" On the other hand, most guys would say, "She's got niiice legs." or something like that. And maybe the guys that do care about a girl's weight are just getting it from the attitudes of the girl. For example, I never used to think my mom was a bitch until she started accusing me of calling her a bitch behind her back. Now I think it all the time. Maybe the boys subconsciously think that girls are too fat because girls are always SAYING that they're too fat. Although, obesity is a huge problem (no pun intended), especially in America and most people SHOULD be concerned about their weight--but there is a difference between concerned and obsessive.

Guys care sooo much about weight because most are shallow. Im not trying to sound conceited or mean or anything, but thats the reason why I get turned down from a guy I really like. They say its because they're after somebody else but I know its because im over 80 lbs.

they care beacause they think it makes them look cooler and other stuff like that if the guy or girl is hot

no one will ever understand why guys think the way they do.. it like a public opinion that they follow.. if they say thin is in.. then thats what they think also and all go for the thin girls.. and even if girls know that skin isnt really "in" anymore it will take a while for guys to understand that.. i would say just find one of the few real good guys out there who dont care about a girls weight and care much more about personality.. <3*

oh my goshh! welcome to my brain.. i definitely know what youre talking about. it seems to me like boys have a whole different confusing world and im not sure all guys care about weight but most probably do. its weird and i dont think ill ever understand it but you know, all i can say is be yourself and the guys will come to you!

ok its gonna be hard to explain to you ok its the way we look at girls. k some like people who are big some people like them small ect like eye of the beholder i like them when they are just normal i dont like girls who only see their bodies and not their personalirty and thats how they look at us normal girls actually dont care too much about their bodies a crap load.

Actually... you're right.
My boyfriend doesn't "like" stick-thin-gross-looking girls. He said that while my weight is ok, anything less than that, on me, would be really thin. I'm almost 5'1'', and 89 pounds. Some guys want a girl who's 5'4'' and 80 pounds, but that's extremely unrealistic. It's like... you hug her, and she breaks in 5 places.
While I do not find really large guys attractive physically, their personalities usually make up for it. [However, since I only know one really big kid, and he's a really big jerk, I can't say that all bigger guys are like that.]
I do like "emo" guys. They're not really muscular (but can hold their own), and they're usually pretty small.
Like you said, you want a guy who's fit, but has some meat on him.
Well, guys really want to see curves. Curves are good. And usually, larger girls don't have as many noticable curves.
And really... I think it's an ego thing. Almost a "my horse is bigger than your horse" thing - you know, my girlfriend is hotter than your girlfriend. My girlfriend is thinner than your girlfriend. Plus, the guy wants to be the one protecting his lady, he wants to be bigger than her.

Because looking diseased is all in right now. Sexy is the chronic illness stuck in a hospital bed look. In the good ole' days of the middle ages, it was hot to be pale and fat. That showed you were rich and blessed with the ability to sit inside all day and eat. The skinny tan girls were poor and usually had to fight the chickens off for their food.

Not all guys care about girl's weight. A lot of them think they do until they fall in love with a girl that is the opposite of what they want.
But if you'd like to know why some guys care about weight...It's probably the same reason you care. Sorry, to be blunt, but what you have said is just as shallow.
