Dear Frizzy,
My mom to had hair that wouldn't curl the way she wanted it to, and decided to straiten it daily. Last time she went to get it layeredly cut again the lady cut it then told her to stop trying to controle her hair and just let it be curly. It frizzes though. So the lady told her to go buy hair oil, gel, and moose. She first put oil in it then gel then moose.(it doesnt matter if you get the really expensive stuff or the cheapest. It will work the same) She fluffed all of them in her, but didnt go crazy to where he it was soaked with it. Now its curly..and pretty. NO FRIZZ!

I ALWAYS straighten my hair..and when I first started (I did it for a straight year---every single day!)..so my hair was pretty much DEAD along with hundreds of split ends..Then, I tried this serum thing from Trade Secret/Tony&Guy called Catwalk..and it works really well..I put it in after I take a shower, blowdry, and then straighten..It makes your hair really really really soft and split end-free.

You could also try scrunching your hair with gel or some other kind of product (ex: Aussie Sprunch Spray--you can get it at your local grocery store/walmart/target, etc) Here is a website that will tell you how to scrunch your hair: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

You can tie your hair up into a messy bun..that's always cute.

Or..did you ever think that your curly/wavy hair was already pretty the way it is?

have you ever tried scrunching your hair? well what you do is first wet your hair all over, then put scrunching gel in while using a scrunching motion, and then blow dry while scrunching it with a diffuser on the blowdryer. it looks really cute i do it all the time !

thanks <3 ask agian
please rate :)

Your hair is frizzy because it's probablly damaged. You should get it trimmed at least so the split ends are gone & so it's healthy. I use this spray called Ion and I spray it in my hair before I use any hot curling iron. If you want to do your hair curly, I wouldn't do it with a curling iron. It never stays no matter how much hair spray or gel you use. You should try those over night curlers.. the ones you sleep it. You can get them anywhere & they aren't expensive. Try using V05 products or Garnier. Just keep your hair healthy and you will be able to do more with it.

I'm not sure how well this will work, but there's this product called Static Guard, in this blue bottle with an orange top (in aerosol form) and it's really for clothes, but my friend sprays it on her hair to keep it from getting frizzy during the day. You can also spray it on your brush and then brush your hair. Try this on the weekend because I'm not sure how well this works.

Good luck!

Okay, the best thing to do is get a curling gel. Wash your hair and condition it, then put the gel in and brush it out. Let it dry or blow dry it. You will have amazing, smooth, curls. Believe me this works, I have the same problem.

I had the same problem right here, yep!
Since you have been straightening your hair, it is now fryed and thus frizzing more than usual. You should try these things:
* Get it trimed or better yet, cut (but not to the point where you have a fro.. unless you want one of course;))
* Use Pantene Pro-V curl shampoo and conditioner until the bottle is gone
* Buy some cream.. Pantene Pro-V works well, and scrunch it in your hair.
* Mousse is awesome to use too, but try to use the cream before you use the mousse because it will totally wreck your hair
* You can buy some hair masks that you put in your hair after you shampoo and conditioner and leave it in for a certain time, then just wash it off with water, (Shoppers)

I hope I helped:D

You could try a product that works on your hair to tame the friz and keep your curls, such as a smoothing cream or a gel. They also make cream to put on your hair to help keep it from frying if thats what your worried about.
