Jogging In The Snow - Does That Work? Snow is a whole new conception to me, so does anyone have any tips at all about jogging during the winter through the snow, ice, and slush?
Or, is it as simple as "carefully", or "don't"?

your best bet i would have to say is go to the gym if theres snow n its cold cause i know i dont like to run n the cold either, it just doesnt work out for me. but the gym has tracks n all that fun stuff there so you can stay in shape n not have to worry about the snow n all ]
Treadmills are great for the winter! My dad is a runner and that is what he does for the winter months. If you don't have a treadmill, maybe join a health club like the YMCA or something like that. Or, if you have a good friend that has one, borrow his/hers. If there are trails where you live, consider running on those. In my town the trails don't have ice, so they're also great! For your issue with your face, they sell these silly looking things that look like a tube made out of fabric. It covers your face up to your nose. If you go to sports authority and tell them about it, they'll know what I mean. ]
well, you could go to a gym and run, but otherwise, i would just be careful and try to run on the roads (safe ones) where all the snow has been cleared. i dont know if this would work, but you could use a face mask/hat.it covers up everything on your head but your mouth. and sometimes your nose is left uncoverd to breath. hope i helped.

Dont go out when the snow is going REAL hard down.
But when its easy going down or not coming at all, and just left over from whenever..
You can still jog. Id wear a nice warm coat, ear muffs, a scarf. Your nose you just gottas warm up yourself, Its real easy, once you start jogging you will be fine. ]
well, you should deffinetely do it carefully and not do it over ice or ice chunks because you may get injured . using alittle bit of moisterizer on your cheeks and nose can help to prevent windburn . sometimes even though it may sound nasty but vaseline works .
xoo hope this helps !! ]
hey! bet its a great experience with the snow and everything lol..
Well when you run through the snow is okay just be careful.. I know alot of people that jogg in the mornings when their isn`t that many cars.. umm If its too deep to jogg then i wouldn`t reccommend doing it or if there is ice cuz there could be some car wrecks and stuff.. But thats your decison..
Yes a scarf will be good.. It isn`t hard to take deep breaths in my opinion just depends on the person i guess.. ♥ Dez ]
You can jog through the winter. It just requires a little caution. Dress warmly in layers so you can take things off if you get hot. Make sure to wear clothes that breathe such as cotton so your clothes aren't sticking to your body if you sweat. Try shoes that have a lot of tread and grip. Snow often hides the ice beneath and you don't want to be skiing on your jog. Good luck. ]
Just have a snowball fight and run around a lot. ]
Hey!!!
