I haven't started my period, but wanna ask 2 questions for when it comes:

2) It says you supposed to stay very clean when you have it. Itake baths cause my shower doesn't work. When I take a bath would thewater get all blooding during my period.
If you have any other info about it;;please tell me =) I'll ate 5 for good answers

ankeagle14 answered Friday December 9 2005, 2:38 pm: ok,
1 you bleed all the time, but it really depends, it could be really slow (light), or fast (heavy)
2 if you take a bath i may slow down but the water will get bloody
ncblondie answered Friday December 9 2005, 9:59 am: Bleeding varies by woman. Some women have very light flows while others have heavy. Generally on the first day and the last day, it tends to be light bleeding with heavier bleeding on the between days. There's no real way to determine what type of flow you'll have until it comes.
SoInToYoUx0x answered Friday December 9 2005, 1:44 am: 1) yes all day and it sucks..
2) i wouldnt do that because it is unhealthy for your body to basically have blood flowin in it. and yes when you are in the shower it does slow it down.
AskAndy answered Friday December 9 2005, 12:43 am: Blood slows down in water, but I wouldnt take a bath unless I was wearing a tampon wich I am terrified of.
On your period you drip all the time. All day. [ AskAndy's advice column | Ask AskAndy A Question ]

miss_thang answered Thursday December 8 2005, 11:47 pm: Well when you have your period, yes, it bleeds all the time. But at one point it might not come out at all and then come back the next day or the next 5 hours.
The water wont get all bloody, it doesnt come out THAT fast =) it wont even turn a dab of red, so dont worry about that one
Oh yes, and when you get your period your gonna wanna use pads for a while but im telling you.. TAMPONS ARE SO MUCH EASIER TO USE. pads get so nasty and all over you but tampons you can just slip in and out, and if you decide to use them just down put them in TOO FAR or when you try to take it out it might hurt a little =)
cherry_chick05 answered Thursday December 8 2005, 11:44 pm: you might bleed alot on your first day but every girl is diffrent. you might want to look on the internet at some sites. and if your wondering about tampons you might want to use them when you take a bath and then take it out and change as soon as you get out that way you wont bleed in the bath....alot of girls dont' bleed in the bath because when your in water youd ont' bleed i dont' know about it but just make sure you change your pad and tampon every 3 hours. 1) A period is different for each person. Some people bleed almost constantly, some people off and on during the days that their period lasts. I wish I could give you a definite answer, but this is something that you most likely won't know until you finally get your period.
Also, certain things like swimming and exercise lessen blood flow depending on who you are.
2)Baths are a great way to stay clean. Soaking in a nice warm bath is both cleansing AND calming. It should calm cramps (if you have any) and just relax all of your muscles. And not only that, but water does stop blood flow - so its kind of a temporary relief from your period.
