If you know how to assemble a PC yourself, it's best to do it yourself. It tends to come out cheaper and that way you get exactly what you want without paying for the extras included in a branded PC. Earlier this year, my husband offered to either buy or build me a computer. I opted to let him build me one with what I wanted. It came out several hundred dollars cheaper than what I could find through the branded PCs and has everything I want.
