well i'd say ask someone to do your hair who knows how to french braid, or go online and find a website that teaches you step by step

it helps if you start with damp hair with gel in it. it keeps down the fly aways, and holds tighter.

french braiding is very tricky. but u start with a little bit of hair and then as you braid the three sections, add a little bit of hair to them. as you move down (or up) your head, you should be using all of the hair that you intend to put up. also, having a buddy to practice of is a huge help!
