My name is Amanda but everyone calls me Roobee pretty much. I have long-ish ash-blonde hair, I'm about 5'3", average weight, brown-ish yellow eyes, and both my ears are pierced twice. I dance, sing, and act in my spare time but hanging with friends is probably my favorite thing to do. I'm currently single and looking to go to college and majoring in dance and business. I'm auditioning for PVPA in the spring. I used to do the advice column for the school news paper in middle school. Now I'm in highschool (9th grade) and there isn't a paper anymore. i am 13/f and my parents have been divorced since i was 2...i live with my mom on weekdays and every other weekend i go to my dads house and spend the night...my mom is remarried and my dad has i g/f that i really like...well last friday was my party so i didnt go to my dads on his weekend. on saturday morning i called my dad and he didnt want to come pick me up..when i got there (from my mom) his g/f was over and they had slept together...my dad asked me if i thought he was a bad person... so i have 2 questions-
1. should i tell my mom about her sleeping over there...becasue i dont really want to go to my dads and if my mom hears i wont have to spend the night at my dads.
2. is it mean for me to not want to go to my dads house...the age is 13 when you get to choose if you go or not but i dont know if i should go.

this is a tough decision that you have to make. go with your gut feeling. if you don't want to go tell your mom. but only if she's strong enough to handle it. she's married, right? so she probably doesn't care about what he does.
its not mean of you to not want to go to your dad's house. that's your choice. maybe you would feel ocward. just because you dont want to live with him for the weekend doesnt mean that you cant see him at all. you know? you could still go out for lunch or something every now and then.

i broke up with my boyfriend last week and now he is being really weird. he has asked me out like 3 times, he keeps IMing me the second i sign on, and he keeps telling my friends to tell me to go out with him..truth is. i don't like him any more and im not really sure if i liked him in the first place..he is really weird and clingy..what should i do?

just tell him that you're willing to be friends with him, but if he can't just be friends, and he keeps clinging, then there'll be nothing at all between the two of you. Tell him that you don't have anything for him and by sticking like flypaper he's just driving you away. I hope I helped and good luck. I had a b/f just like this. Turns out he was twisted and unstable so he more than leaned on me. So I gave him a "back off" warning. When he didn't listen, I told him that's it and I just ignored him completely. He missed me so he came back and said "okay, if i promise to be only your friend, will it work?" and i said "that's your choice." we're just casual friends now.

Long story short, my boyfriend was joking around about something (he's a really good joker), didn't tell me he was joking, so I was super upset and when he was gone last night I took all of his stuff that he's given me back over to his house (actually I left it at his cousins but that's beside the point.)
Thing is, we still talk. He says he still loves me and he would take me back but the fact that I brought all his stuff back changes things. Last night on the phone he was bawling, and he barely ever cries. I could tell he was really hurt. He couldn't listen to the radio or put on any of our songs. I want him back so bad. When he called me last night I was a bitch to him at first because I was hurting so bad but then we talked and I wasn't a bitch anymore. He said that is another reason why he can't take me back right now. Because I was a bitch. I miss him so much I can't even put it into words. What can I do to show him that I swear that's the last time I will ever be a bitch? He was talking about suicide and I don't. He's my everything, my world. I love him more than anything. I need him back. I know he loves me too. The thing is now he has a girlfriend (which is another long story, he went out with her to forget about me because he thought I broke up with him.) He still tells me he loves me. I will rate 5's to everyone that helps, but please don't tell me that it's his fault for joking about it. That's not the point really. I want him back. I need him back. let him know that you still love him. just because someome said that you should let go of someone you love, doesn't mean you're suppose to. keep him! get your egos out of the way and take each other back. try and control your emotions. let him know that you love him!

french braiding is very tricky. but u start with a little bit of hair and then as you braid the three sections, add a little bit of hair to them. as you move down (or up) your head, you should be using all of the hair that you intend to put up. also, having a buddy to practice of is a huge help!

Every night for the past week or two, I've been having really bad nightmares. Two of the nights I've had nightmares that I was in a car accident. The other two nights, I've had dreams that I killed someone I love and tried to hide their body, then realized what I did was wrong and felt scared and guilty. I looked everywhere online to find out what these dreams mean and why I keep having them. Can someone tell me what all of this means? I rate 5's for all answers. (link)

you definitely need to tell this friend how you feel. i mean, if they're doing this, than they aren't that much of a friend. tell her straight out "i'm sorry, but you're getting a little clingy and it's kinda ocward for me". be polite and nice. u dont(!!!) want to be mean. that'll make things worse!

There is this guy who a little younger then me (nothing illegal or anything)...he goes to my school and we always make eye contact in the hallways and sometimes i catch him staring at me. I think he's really cute and maybe kinda like him but i dont really know him. I want to talk to him but it's hard because i'm so shy n he seems kinda shy too. I'm mostly scared to talk to him because he might not even like me, thats what usually happens anyways. I kno i shouldnt waste my life thinking what if but im to scared to make a move, it's not my kinda thing, is there anything i can do to maybe talk to him? (link)

i am the exact same way. i'm shy and i dont want to be the one to make the first move. its hard, i know. wat i usualy do is in between classed, if i see him in the hall, i'll take a deep breath and just say "hey!" and smile. just keep walking. if he eknowleges you then you know that he doesnt hate you. it'll take a few tries. but take it step by step. sometimes if u jsut take a breath and let it out, u do it before you have time to holf back. then after you're comfy with saying hi every now and again...say "hey! how are you?" or something. just take it step by step. maybe he'll get the message and make the first move in a few weeks?

personally, i think that an 11 year old shouldn't be dating. but, its all based on maturity. if u two are at the same maturity level and ur not going too far in the relationship, and its okay with the 'rents...go for it. but i'm not promoting anything.
