ok, im 13/f and i kno everyone has upper lip hair, but mine is starting to get a little more noticable and i was wondering whats the best way to get rid of it? i dont want to wax, if u even can, so dont say that. I have this little grooming razor thingy so would that work? thanks danielle
I use this Braun Silkepil thing. It pulls out the hair from the roots, and it won't grow back for a week minimum. It's got the special things for legs, armpits and facial stuff. It could be a little painful but beauty knows no pain.
xOcourTneyOx answered Wednesday November 16 2005, 9:37 pm: omg don't shave it or wax it!!!! seriously that is the worst thing to do! what you should do is bleach it wich makes it very light blonde and makes it a bit thinner(bc it has bleach in it and bleach damages hair and stuff)! if you want a good kind just drop one in my inbox! hope i helped* [ xOcourTneyOx's advice column | Ask xOcourTneyOx A Question ]
adorable247 answered Wednesday November 16 2005, 7:14 pm: i think that will work but some times it leaves really strange looking lines on your upper lip area so i dont know but you can always use nair, sally something hair removal cream which is least painful remember to make sure to use the one made for upper lip or face because it burns if it is not (trust me on that OUCH!) also you can get someone to thread your upper lip hair but that hurts more than waxing [ adorable247's advice column | Ask adorable247 A Question ]
xopinkbarbie answered Tuesday November 15 2005, 6:19 pm: Don't shave it, those other people don't know what they are talking about! Since you don't wanna wax, I recommend getting upper lip hair removal cream, there's a whole bunch of different kinds including sally hassen & nair. Just go to your local drug store and you should be able to find the product you need. ♥ [ xopinkbarbie's advice column | Ask xopinkbarbie A Question ]
oneandonly345 answered Monday November 14 2005, 8:17 pm: yeah .. it would work.
but its going to grow back
faster. and look darker.
maybe you can talk to your parents about
getting it removed. for good
that lasor thing. i know i am getting that
when i get a little older.
but for now, you can use that razor
or get it waxed.
i would wait for the lasor until your about 16.

pink_kisses00 answered Monday November 14 2005, 5:54 pm: Dont use the razor! It could give you razor burn, since the area above your lip is very sensitive. You should try a bleaching product, or a facial buffer. They work really well. You can buy them at any convenient store. All you do is buff the area above your upper lip. Its really easy and it works.
Saynotogymclass answered Monday November 14 2005, 5:29 pm: I would reccommend using nair. Its so easy and only takes about 6 minutes. The smell is irritating to some, but i don't think its too bad! You can get it at any supermarket. It doesn't cost too much either. Your razor would work, but i wouldn't use it. Just go the whole nine yards and get rid of all the hair!! I agree on not waxing, its too time consuming. [ Saynotogymclass's advice column | Ask Saynotogymclass A Question ]
dhrutts answered Monday November 14 2005, 4:32 pm: Hi There,
Please whatever you do please do not use that razor as it will have bad side effects in the long run. There are a few cremes in the chemist you could try, threading or tweezing it.
Karen answered Monday November 14 2005, 4:17 pm: You should try using Nair Upper Lip Hair Remover and that will do the job of removing your uppet lip hair. I wouldn't use the grooming razor, since the hair will grow back darker and thicker. Waxing wouldn't make your hair grow back differently, though you mentioned not to say this. You should try the hair remover cream out. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
