HELP!
ok my parents were not home so i took there car out to practice my driving.then i took the car to go out to the mall and go shopping.when i came back from shopping there was a huge scratch on the hood of it!please help!!!

ok some things you could do:
1. go get matching paint and paint the scratch or wax it and get rid of it.
2. don't say anything and if your parents ask, say a tree branch could have fallen on it or maybe some animal like a squrelle scratched it.
3.Tell them you wanted to practice driving and it happened then...though, depending on your parents, you may get into trouble.

You can't get a scratch on the hood of a car by just driving it to the mall and to go shopping and stuff. Unless you know what caused it there's no way your parents can trace it back to you. It may have been there before you left the house and you didn't notice it. Don't tell your parents that you took the car when the scratch was already there! What you should do if you have no idea what caused the scratch is pretend that nothing happened. If you do know what caused the scratch you should tell your parents about it. It's better for them to know before they find the scratch themselves. Taking a car without permission is a serious no no. The chances of getting caught are high, there's so many things that can happen. It's just not a good idea at all to take your parents' car unless you need it. I've done it before and it's not worth it. Just get permission next time. Good luck! <3

Get some wax and buffer things from a car part store, and wax the hood till the scratch comes out. Or jsut tell yourparents you went joyriding, lol.

ok i did the same thing but put a big dent in it! when my mom asked about it i was like i dont know there is a dent? so just be like i have no idea what you are talking about maybe it got scratched when you were out and you just noticed it. i hope i helped// xo stacey

1.)you could tell your parents that you took it out to the store to get some food and when you came back there was a big scratch on the hood.
2.)you can act like nothing ever happened
3.)tell them the truth and offer to help pay for the scratch on the car

What you did i know was very tempting. The rite thing to do know is tell your parents. Becuse if you lie about what happend then they will eventually find out and you will get in worse trouble. Be honest with them. You could also offer to pay for the fixing of the car if you have the money. This is my advice:)

Well...that is a bit of a problem...but let me see what I can do. There are a few things you can do:
1. If you don't want to get in trouble...go to a local car fixer place (LOL) and ask them what to do and see what can be done
2. The truth will come out some time or another...tell your parents the truth...nd tell them you went on a practice drive and beg them etc. etc.
3. You can do nothing. I advise you against that but it is your own freewill. If they ask you what happened say you have no clue.
I wish you luck..that is my advice. I would not do #3 though...a warning...before you land yourself in more trouble..

There is no way around it--if you lie it will make it worse. You have to be honest with your parents-you may still be in trouble but to be honest you were grown up enough to take the car and unfortunetly something happened to it so now you have to be grown up and take the consequences-but lieing makes it worse so if you can go to your parents tell them what happened they will respect that you had enough to come to them before they found out themself---

Ok well, get a wet rag and try wiping at it....then find nail polish that's simialr to the car color and cover it up as best you can....it's not like your parents are gonna inspect their car so they shouldn't notice...but for future reference...DON'T STEAL YOUR PARENTS CAR!! lol!! You have 2 options. OK for 1) Buy some car paint from Advanced Auto Parts or whatever carn place there is in your town or 2)Tell your parents what happened. Do chores and maybe even get a job to help pay for the damage. Good luck!!!<3 Ems
