OK, the story goes like this. I go out with my ex-girlfriend and she says she won't ever leave me, and BANG. A week later she leaves me(she's f/17). I tried to call her...a lot for two weeks. I then decide not to contact her anymore but it's been two months and i'm still not over her. Must i contact her or must i just accept that she will never come back? (link)

I would try to call her and if it didn't work...well all I have to say, is that unfortunately, we all have to come to accept things, even if we don't want to. I know it sucks, but you just gotta get out there and live your life. It's too short. So get out there and meet people and stuff! :)

I'm in an advanced Chior group. We are going to sing at some fancy restaurant. We get to choose what song we want to sing, because were doing solos, duets,trios,and quartets. I have a group to sing with and we all want to do this so we need to get an anser before all the slots get filled up. Does anybody have any good songs to sing there? my mom says that she gives me lots of priveleges, which i highly disagree with. just today i had a friend over -a girl- -im a guy- and we went to my room and my mom yelled at me and told me that im too old to have girls in my room even if we're just friends -btw im 15-. do you agree with this? if you do then why?! if you dont then how do i tell my mom that i am mature enough to control myself around my friends...sheesh (link)

No one is really right or wrong in this situation. You're mom wants you to be her little boy forever and she doesn't want you messing around with any girls just yet. You are a teen irritated that their mom is over-reacting just because omg *gasp* there was a girl in your room. You should talk to your mom about having more trust in you and allowing you to have girls over and such. If she still gets angry well then all I have to say is as you get older, she'll loosen her wrath. Good luck babe.

Honestly, I don't reccommend doing it yourself. I was told by someone who works at a piercing/tattoo parlor, that if you do it yourself, you can possibly hit the wrong nerve and your entire face/ear will go numb. But anyways here's your answer:
Clean an earring or needle (whichever your prefer, earring is easier though) with some alcohol. Pinch your ear really hard and wherever you see white spots, that's where nerves are. Do not pierce anywhere near them, I REPEAT DO NOT PIERCE ANYWHERE NEAR THEM. Then you numb it with some ice or whatever then just stick the earring through really fast & you should hear skin breaking and then you're done! Voila.

No, you shouldn't stop hanging out with your friends just because they smoke. It is ok to politely ask them not to smoke around you. If they refuse to listen, then you can quit hanging out with them. Don't ever let yourself be pressured into something you're not comfortable with doing. Remember, you can always say "NO." Hope I helped! Good luck!

I was looking through a few questions on religion (Not a darn clue why, I just was) and I was reading a question about a girl who wanted to become Buddist.
An answer she recieved made me a little upset. This person that answered kept saying how she was choosing the wrong religion and that being Buddist is wrong.
I've noticed things like this before, strong Christians (yes, it is mostly Christians) criticizing other religions. They will rant on and on about how it's the wrong religion.
What is so wrong with believing in Buddah? Why do you have to criticize people who do not believe in God? We have the right to choose our religion and the right to choose no religion at all.
Why do you believe that your religion is the only "right" religion? This has been bothering me for a while.
I really don't want any Christians on this site to feel that I am directing this ONLY at you. But what I've seen on this site about 90% of the people criticizing people for their religion are strong Christians. So, I'm just basing my question on the majority.

I try to be a Christian myself. I have noticed this too and it breaks my heart. Christians are also very, very hypocritical and that really bugs me. I am a very open-minded person and I hang out with all kinds of people. I totally agree that Christians doing this is very, very wrong. But they are taught that there way is the only right way to go. But I like to keep an open mind. If they don't agree with someone they shouldn't even have answered their question. There is nothing wrong with believing in Buddha. C'mon all you Christians just let people live their lives! Hope I consoled you in some way by replying, lol. :)

You have 2 options. OK for 1) Buy some car paint from Advanced Auto Parts or whatever carn place there is in your town or 2)Tell your parents what happened. Do chores and maybe even get a job to help pay for the damage. Good luck!!!

ok sorry its long but... i have a lot of problems and i dont know whats wrong with me. there are just so many things...here are just a few:
1-i cut myself...like really deep to the point where i pass out and wake up with blood all over
2-i pull the ends of my hair on urdge
3-i feel tension and stress about everything bad
4-i over analyze EVERYTHING makeing it scary and bad
5-i think about suicide all the time
6-my mood can change in an instant-one minute ill be all happy and something will happen or someone will say something and ill go all depressed
7-i burn myself on occasion
8-i find it really hard to express my feelings and what imthinking b/c ik that noone will understand...they will try but they just dont get what im going through unless they r goin through it too
9-i am always tired all the time b/c i dont sleep much...i havent in like a week
10-i have lost a lot of weight b/c i refuse to eat and when some one makes me eat i throw it back up
11-at times i will find my self sitting in my room and all of a sudden i will just like start crying and i will cry for hours
12-for the past year i have been trying so hard to make it sound like i am happy and im so good to the point where my parents think that i am a "happy delightful young lady who is fun to be around"
you see? there are so many things wrong with me and like i have tried sooo many different ways to cope with the stress in my life but like nothing that i have tried works! its just realy hard and idk what to do.

All these are signs of depression. I know what you're going through, I've been here before. You should talk with your parents and tell them everything. Also, I recommend counseling. Get help now. Please!!!! Do it for me. I know exactly how you feel...

me and this boy have been dating on and off for over a year now.we're not going out right now though.He's cheated on me and lied to me and somehow he gets off by calling me a liar and a player and i would never do that to him and on halloween me and my friend went to his house and we we're playing around at first and then he started getting serious and he slapped me and my friend just sat there only becuz he said he would beat the f*** out of her too.he is quite abusive and i still like him.do you think i should still like him or should i tell someone that he slapped me? Ok,for Halloween my friend Lisa suggested I dress up as a French Maid.And I did,I went the whole nine yards shaved legs,high heels,makeup everything.Now all my friends think I'm gay.The worst part of all this is that I really enjoyed being all dressed up.I had a long talk with Lisa about this and she said the reason why she suggested the costume was because she always thought I was a bit girly she said if I wanted to she will help me shop for clothes and stuff.The problem is if I do this everyone will def think I'm gay.I'm so confused I just don't know what to do.Thanks for Listening. Right well we got a swimmin pool built in our school last month and when the girls are on their periods they aren't allowed to sit out but are forced to use tampons!!!!!! I haven't been on since it was built but oomg. I am so scared. I have never used a tampon and I'm never GONNA so don't suggest I do. Isn't it like illegal to force us to use tampons or somethin? My friend even got her rents in about it and they still made her use tampons!! What can I do on swimmin days that I am on? I'm not using a tampon but I'm not standin in the changing room arguing bout whether to use one or not with the PE teacher its embarassing!! (link)

Okay, as childish as this might sound, I needed to ask it anyways. I'm 15 female, and this other girl named; Rachael is 14. Rachael rides my bus & she was my first friend at school. I just recently moved here, she was/still is a loner too! After about a month she really started to annoy me, & I guess you could say I really don't like her AT ALL. But, she still follows me around, talks to me, etc. I'm not mean to her though - Seen as; I'm nothing like that. I'm seriously one of the nicest people alive. I really don't like to yell at people but if it becomes necessary, then I do. Today on the bus she took my purse because stupid me left it in the seat while I went back to my locker to get a book. When I got back she said, "I threw your purse out the window! Your love took the purse I don't have it!" Which really pissed me off. I asked her nicely for about 5 minutes, then I just lost it and totally flipped out, I really wanted my purse back & I knew she had it. She gave it back 10 mins after that and I ignored her the rest of the way home. When she asked if I was mad at her I said no, because I think it might seem childish if I were to say yes because she stole my purse & I defintiely didn't want to be the immature one in the situation. I was wondering, if I did right? Did it seem childish of me not to talk to her, or do you think that I did right? Thanks!!

Well if you're angry, you're angry. People change and friends drift apart. She should've given you your purse back when it was obvious you really were angry and she didn't. I personally would have told her I was mad but that's just me. Sometimes people don't feel like fighting I guess. It wasn't childish I'd probably have ignored her too. Hope I helped!

Ok im 14/f and my brother is 18. thought that was a good way to start out. Well i always had a crush on my brother's friend. He is like 19 now which is way too old for me. But this weekend i was hanging out with because my brother was having a party for people who were home from college. And my brother's friend that i like is kinda hitting on me like say that when i turn 18 that we are going to date. Also he had like he around are my hips and on butt. I dont know if he was just messing around or serious?? I know that i am not going to date him like NOw because he is way too old for me. And this guy is not a jerk he is soo nice. Well it's good you've decided not to date him yet because he really is too old for you. He was probably just messing around, but I don't know details soo...yeah lol.
