VainTaraLynn answered Sunday November 6 2005, 9:57 pm: First. Its writers block. It happens when you cant think of anything to write about. Im a natural writer, not being conceited or anything. Some things that help me write are thinking about life, or listening to songs and basing it around that. [ VainTaraLynn's advice column | Ask VainTaraLynn A Question ]

Tell him that you do know that your writing needs work. [ kendallski03's advice column | Ask kendallski03 A Question ]

Dr_Chad answered Saturday November 5 2005, 2:04 pm: Although correct grammar is necessary to publish, it isn't an important factor in the creative process. The grammar check comes last. Whether you are writing a story or an essay, what matters most are your ideas and your voice. In other words, I'd rather be able to tell a story and have poor grammar than to have impeccable grammar and no talent for spinning a yarn. Get it?
What qualifies your boyfriend as a literary critic?j Don't listen to him. Every artist has detractors. Listen to your gut.
Little_silent_voices answered Saturday November 5 2005, 12:12 pm: hun. I know you want to listen to your boyfriend cause he is the one that is suposed to care for you most but he doesnt know what he is talkin about. I bet you are a great righter.
here are some ways to help
1)make a list of random words and then start writing about something and use all the words in the story.
2)write about something very deer to your heart. Those are the things that usualy get me my best grades.
3)just start writing a story dont even plain it out or anything just start writing (but have it make sense) and maybe you will get something good
Trust me grammer isnt everything. I stink at spelling but i have had my work published! you CAN do it..
If you want you can reach me and ill help you think of some things

You just have to, put alot into your writing. Instead of writing simple sentences, add detail to them.

The_MoUsY_spell_checker answered Saturday November 5 2005, 6:27 am: Practising always helps. Write about something that you want to write about. It will help you improve your grammar, and you can get more familiar with using words. That will come in handy when you need to write something for school.
Reading also helps, since you'll get more familiar with word usage, and you can get ideas from what you read. Make sure you read something that you actually want to read, otherwise you might end up hating it. (Of course, no one can help you if you have set texts from school and you don't like them)
Consider taking up a creative writing class (not necessarily at school) if you have time, you can share ideas with others and let others tell you about your writing.
