Make sure its ok with your parent or guardian before telling your friends about it. You need to tell your parent or guardian who it is that you want to invite so they can make sure it would be ok. Make sure that you don't invite two girls who hate each other.
Second you should ask around for a theme. Think about wat your friends will like. Say they all like animals...a safari hunt with you cats and dogs dressed like girrafes and elephants. I know those may seem imature but in the end it will be a ball of fun.
Third, find games that similar to your theme. Make sure to find drinks and snacks that match your theme. If its a scary theme make dirt cake. The worst mistake you can make is not to have enough drinks and food. Guest would not like that.
Fourth, have everyone bring a sleeping blanket or something else to sleep in. Maybe if you do something like a jungle theme tell a few girls to bring tents for outside sleeping.
Well I hope this is what you wanted. If you can't find good idea's look for a issue of American Girl magazine. They always have good ideas!!!

A good theme for around Christmas would be like the north pole. you could have some like fake snow,...like it kind of looks like cotton, you could but that everywhere, dress up like santa or mrs.clause, get some reindeer, some holiday music, cookies, CANDY, *&* soda. ok, you should have some fun games like truth or dare. you could also watch scary movies, and freak yourselves out. watch some cristmas movies, match around the house pretending to have a little chrstmas paradee. sizzlinmandolin answered Monday October 31 2005, 2:00 am: You don't really have to do that much for a sleepover. The food is a must, and remember that sleepovers are usually based on gossip. Choose a room in your house (either your room or the living room) and set up cushions, pillows, matresses, etc so you and your friends can lounge around and talk. Games are a great way to get everything started so your friends get comfortable right away. Another good thing to have is a few movies (comedies) as a back up plan if you guys start to get bored. You don't want to make it look like you're trying too hard, but some decorations would be cool. Balloons are always fun and a good theme if you choose to do that is "winter wonderland" or something like that. Remember that sleepovers are just supposed to be really fun. I hope it all goes really well for you and try not to worry! Good luck! [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]
