I suggest writing him a note and telling him you need some space. If you cant be comfortable in class then you should tell him. You could just tell him that you like being friends but he is just getting in the way of your concentration. Telling him you need space and that when your in class you want to focus on that and not other things. Or hook him up with someone and then he can annoy someone else. IF he has a g/f he will only be talking to for a little while. [ Advicelady6798's advice column | Ask Advicelady6798 A Question ]
sarraleew answered Monday October 24 2005, 10:18 am: the kid sounds like an ass. see if you can ignore him or if maybe you can make sure that you sit on the opposite side of the room in the classes that you are in with him. or try and find something to focus or someone else to complain about him so that he can get yelled at or kicked out. Eva answered Monday October 24 2005, 8:58 am: If the situation is effecting your school work then it is the teachers responsibility to put a stop to it. Those teachers are paid to make sure that you are getting an education and they have to do whatever is in their power to make sure that you are in a good learning environment. Have you told your parents that you have already brought it to the teachers attention and they have done nothing to remedy the situation?
As a parent, I have gone to the school myself, to remind the teachers that they have to do what they can to help. If this kid is preventing you from being as successful as you can in school they should intervene. I would have your parents remind the teachers, vice principle and principle of this.

I'd say try telling them again, and if they don't do anything that time get your parents involved. [ sillyrob's advice column | Ask sillyrob A Question ]
