illegal?

umm is stealing street sign illegal, like a stop sign or a name of a street, i think i know the answer but if you could help id appreciate it<333

oh and i couldnt find the right category for this one...

Yes, who ever stole it is stealing the citys property. thats like someone going in your house and stealing your jewlery, This is what i usually say to my younger cousins, If its not yours, dont take it. Hope i helped

That's a humongous YES!! I'm assuming the punishment varies from state to state, but I know in Virgina it's classified as a 'Case 1 Misdemeanor'. (However, that wasn't enough to stop my brother from stealing a 'STOP' sign, that bad apple!!)


I found an interesting story online of a couple who got jail time for stealing a 'STOP' sign.
