BOOK CLUB!
I <3 Reading! Book Club at my school starts on Wednesday!! :) What are some good books? I think the group is going to be all girls, but Im not quite sure!!

Maybe give some free advice about: School?
I can personally recommend:
-- ANYTHING by V.C. Andrews. Particularly "Flowers In The Attic" [that one is also a movie, so enjoy the book.. then enjoy the movie!]
-- ANYTHING by Mary Downing Hahn!! Particularly "Daphne's Book" and "Jellyfish". She's without a doubt *THE* most remarkable writer I've ever come across. I **despise** reading, personally.. so if an author can get me to *PICK UP* a book.. they must be GREAT, but to have me NEVER BE ABLE TO PUT IT DOWN.. they must be SUPERB!!
-- Also, if you haven't yet Robert C O'Brien's "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH", I definitely suggest doing so. It's a classic, and probably most of your book club will have already read it, but it's worth spouting out the idea, I'd say. All of those in the series [about 3] are all wonderful.
Like I said, I'm NOT a reader, so for ME to recommend some books.. you know they must be somethin' else!! Hope this helps!!! :D

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (all 3 books) they ROCK! Esp. for all girls yipee! Also, Lord of the Flies. That book was fabulous, and its an older book, but it still ROCKS. ROCK!!! RoCk! ROCK!!

Sophie's World is an AWESOME book, I read it this summer and loved it to death.
Catcher in the Rye is greattoo.
Also, if you're looking for something sillier, the Confessions of Georgia Nicholson series is super funny.

As someone else suggested, Rainbow Boys is an excellent book. If you want something kind of serious, then The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath is a good one (warning: it's depressing, but VERY, VERY well written).

Misery by Stephen King. Although, I would doubt the club would like it.

there are soooo many good books out there! my favorite authors are sharron creech, margaret peterson haddix, && dan brown.....there books are GREAT.

White Oleander, East of Eden, The China Garden, Mists of Avalon, and The Raging Quiet are some good ones, especially for girls.

This past summer I read "Go Ask Alice"
It is such a good book you should read it.
