advicegodesses2 answered Friday September 30 2005, 5:54 pm: Hey,
Never ever ever ever get your teeth whitened before braces because then it'll just be a waste of money and your teeth will then have white spots. Do it afterwards I am because afterwards you'll have white spots anyways and when you get your teethw whitened they'll go away.
RPHScheer2009 answered Wednesday September 21 2005, 4:10 pm: Don't do it while you've got your braces on!! I almost did that, and they told me that there would be marks from where I whitened my teeth and where the brackets were guled to them. So wait a couple more weeks, then try something...I know that Crest Whitestrips work pretty good, even though they taste crappy and you can't talk while you've got them in:-)
angelmcclain answered Wednesday September 21 2005, 12:33 pm: i think you should do it before and then after. i have known people with braces and they said that after they get them off they could tell where they were because of discolorization. so if you start off pearly white then follow up afterward that should take care of that problem. jj_u_i_c_y answered Tuesday September 20 2005, 11:08 pm: hey hun, i had braces and whitening your teeth now wont help. i would whitening tooth paste like colgate or w.e and a whitening mouth wash like the listerine white. and when you choose your braces color dont choose the colors; clear, white, silver, grey, black, yellow, or red. the red looks like blodde blacks just ugly, yellow clear white silver grey turn yellow. So that would kinda defete the whole purpose of making your teeth look whiter. So do it after you get your braces of.
loverpinkprincess answered Tuesday September 20 2005, 10:30 pm: Do it know and then during be sure no matter what to brush your teeth 3 times a day and do it after then your teeth will be beautiful, strait, and white.
Kr4z3y_Ch3lly answered Tuesday September 20 2005, 8:58 pm: when you get ur braces off. theres no point in doing it now when your just going to cover up your teeth ne ways. and DO NOT DO IT WHILE THERYE ON! thre will be spots from the brakets if u whiten your teeth while you have braces on. so just wiat until they come off.
honeyJ17 answered Tuesday September 20 2005, 8:43 pm: I think you should do it when your braces come off because since you'll have your braces on you cant really tell. Take care [ honeyJ17's advice column | Ask honeyJ17 A Question ]
K2204 answered Tuesday September 20 2005, 8:39 pm: before and after, DEFINATELY NOT DURING!
sillygoose92b answered Tuesday September 20 2005, 8:35 pm: Well, i would suggest just brushing well while you have braces with whitening toothpaste so you don't have a problem. When they're off if they have like yellow spots in the middle from the middle i would suggest using something stronger for whitening such as listerine with whitening. The strips aren't good for your teeth and i would suggest using them as a last resort [ sillygoose92b's advice column | Ask sillygoose92b A Question ]
kittygurl90 answered Tuesday September 20 2005, 8:24 pm: Do it now, and then during your braces use listerine for whitening that will keep the rings on your teeth away then do it after too to have pretty whit teeth!
MummuM answered Tuesday September 20 2005, 7:43 pm: I think you should start doing it now, while you don't have any braces. Then once you do get them on, you can put the whitening on around your braces. But for now, get a head start and start useing it now. This way all your teeth will be white, just not haft.
