NUMA NUMA!!!!!! Best dance song ever, and if you want some coriography for it, go to www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/numa it's hilarious! I'm a guy, and I know all the coriography, and I still dance to it! By the way, the english translation sucks, keep it in Romanian.
If Numa Numa isn't your cup of tea, look up Axel F by the Crazy Frog, it's really funny. Hope I helped!

Book Of Love - Peter Gabriel
Sway - Pussycat Dolls
In Love With The '80s - Relient K
Don't Cha - Pussycat Dolls
Bowling Ball - Superchic[k]
Gibberish - Relient K
Out Of Control - John Reuben
Are You Real - KJ-52
Falling Out - Relient K
Santa Maria - ????
Kryptonite - 3 Doors Down
Are You Gonna Be My Girl - Jets

Alot of country songs are good for swing dances, classical music for waltzes and fox trots, Polkas for... polka-ing! Haha. But those songs ^^ and songs listed with others are good for "pop" danging, I suppose. But if you want a list of songs for swinging, or waltzing, just ask! Hahaha... I doubt that's anything you want though!

You mentioned cheering. Well, my school's cheer team is doing a routine to the song 'Helena' by My Chemical Romance.
