just a coincidence?

Question Posted Monday August 15 2005, 3:21 pm

13/f this is gonna be long. in the past two years i've had three really intense sex dreams where i wake up and i'm really sweaty and kind of shakey and i feel all tingly and stuff. the weird thing is that about a month after i have these dreams i have another dream where i will be in the delivery room at a hospital having the baby. one time i even woke up with cramps in my abdomen. this has happened for the first two times but i only had the last dream like two weeks ago. Are these dreams just a weird...really really weird coincidence or could they mean something?

K.A.

they could just be unused ideas you've had...or they could be a warning of telling you not have sex yet or a unplanned baby can happen

I think it is probably just hormones. But it could definately be more. You could be having visions of what will happen in the future. Or I have heard of stories where girls were having dreams like these but they werent just dreams. They were drugged by their dad or bf or w/e and fell asleep and were dreaming about what was happening. I would check yourself after everydream just to make sure nothing is going on. Or, you can like go to a doctor or psycic and talk about this. Or a dream therapist. But I do think it means something. Just be aware of all your options. Hope I helped, -|-PRP-|-

uh well...if youre fucking a bf...you could indeed be pregnant my friend! but youre 13 my diagnosis would be puberty! fun shit that is...have fun with that. and if youre so worried about getting pregnant...when you become sexually active (or if you already are..gross) then i would recommend going on the pill. a lotta guy leave air bubbles in condoms or they put them on wrong rendering them significantly less effictive. so thats my suggestion. sweet dreams baby! ; )

It's just puberty. Not exactlly a coincidence but it's nothing to worry about. Your hormones are doing this to you. I hope I helped!

TheKnightOwl answered Monday August 15 2005, 3:56 pm:
Hmmmm, I wouldn't say that this is coincidence, your body is telling you something, and it is being loud and clear. When you enter puberty your body is ready to make babies, that's what these dreams basically are, your body and your brain communicating. The first part of said dream, the sex part, is telling you more or less, its time to have sex. And I'm guessing that the delivery dream is your body telling you that its now too late in your cycle to get pregnant. I don't have a hell of a lot of experience in the matter, but this has come up once before with me. I'll leave it at this, sex dreams are normal for any adolescent, but perhaps your body really wants you to get pregnant. Don't listen to it, and just let the dreams come they can't hurt you.

They mean that you're 13, that you have a lot of hormones running through your system as puberty takes hold, and that you're perfectly normal.

Nothing to worry about. Everybody has had them. Nothing could be more natural.

I'd suggest waiting for a few years before you try to live out any of those dreams, though. :D
