shutupnkissme98 answered Sunday August 14 2005, 6:49 pm: for a pad its pretty easy to tell when you need to change it. lik when its mostly covered in blood you definetl need to change it. but for a tampon when you start to see blood on the string then its time for a new one.
xomegaroni answered Sunday August 14 2005, 9:08 am: you change it when you feel the need to. for a pad, i change it like every 2-3 hours, but for a tampon you should change it about every 5-6.
LoveNJstyle answered Sunday August 14 2005, 8:33 am: every 4-6 hours...basically when it starts to stink real bad, it needs to go. for tampons, if you can see the blood on the string...theres a sign that its gotta go. hope this helps!<3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]
xHC0Barbi3x answered Sunday August 14 2005, 1:14 am: ♥ Hey girly, It sorta depends on your flow. For a tampon change it every 4-6 hours. Some you can keep in up to 8 hours. I think its the same with pads. But dont wait to long with pads because it can get gross =/ && dont wait to long eother with tampons because you could get TSS. BUt I w*ouldnt worry. Thats verrrry rare. Hope I helped! Good luck!!! ♥ Always-Lauren [ xHC0Barbi3x's advice column | Ask xHC0Barbi3x A Question ]
azngemini answered Sunday August 14 2005, 1:09 am: umm i dont know much about tampons because i only use pads. i usually change mine everytime i use the bathroom. if there's very little blood, then you can use the same pad. if like half the pad(or more) has blood on it, you should change it. i normally change my pad.. maybe 3-4 times a day... depending on how heavy the leak is.. but that's just me. your period might be different from mine. and you should change it when you think you need to use a new one.
h0tt_stuff answered Sunday August 14 2005, 12:51 am: Well change your pad about everytime you go to the bathroom, except if you go like every hour.. s change it like every 4 hours =) when you start using tampons its actually really easy but you dont have to start for another year and it has all directions on the box! good luck dear
ShYbl0nD3 answered Sunday August 14 2005, 12:43 am: well basically to what you think is comfterble. tampons maybe every 2 hrs. and pads check them like every hour or 2 depending on how heavy your period is. [ ShYbl0nD3's advice column | Ask ShYbl0nD3 A Question ]
x0blu3eyedbeautyx0 answered Sunday August 14 2005, 12:42 am: Ok well if you wear a pad it sais to change it aver 4 hours...it really depend son how heavy your flow is...you can usually go longer but you should definitly change it eveyr 8 hours..but you can wera one when your sleeping and not worry about it. if your wearing a tampon change every 4 to 8 hours...because if you leave those in too long it can get uncomfortable, you could leak, and there's the chance of TSS which is a really rare disease but its deadly...dont worry it very unlikely to happen! Since you never talked to your mom..i recomend you sleep with pads to you know clear out the system down there but tampons in the day. If you need someone to talk to about that kind of stuff feel free to im me at angleyezxo21xo x0x ♥ caitie ♥ [ x0blu3eyedbeautyx0's advice column | Ask x0blu3eyedbeautyx0 A Question ]
t0xicParadiSe answered Sunday August 14 2005, 12:40 am: every 3 - 4 hours it depends on how heavy/light the flow is
