Teza answered Friday August 5 2005, 1:06 am: Pads.. no. You can but thats just gross. I mean it will fall apart and its not comftrable. If you dont wear anything you will leak and blood will be everywhere. So wear a tampon. They are most comftrable. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
3HOLLYWOODxGLAM3 answered Friday August 5 2005, 1:05 am: a tampon is deffinitly reccomended because a pad will most likely fall off.. or either make you leak. however you stop bleeding in the water so it may not make you leak. but a pad will be very visible in water. so unless your swimming with a group of girls i dont think you would want guys to see your pad = [ 3HOLLYWOODxGLAM3's advice column | Ask 3HOLLYWOODxGLAM3 A Question ]
MusicMuse008 answered Friday August 5 2005, 12:38 am: Where are you swimming? If you're swimming in the ocean, you could go free, if you're in a pool, you could i guess, since movement often stems the flow, but I wouldn't risk it. Whatever you do DO NOT WEAR A PAD! You'll end up with the soggy diaper look, and everyone'll know. My best advice, use the tampon.
Peachgirly answered Friday August 5 2005, 12:37 am: If you wear a pad while swimming it will definitely come off so I definitely recommend wearing a tampon when needed. But if it is on one of your light days then you don't have to wear anything if you don't want to. ♥ Peachgirly [ Peachgirly's advice column | Ask Peachgirly A Question ]

FrEe2bMe answered Friday August 5 2005, 12:05 am: Well, technically you can wear a pad while swimming, but it would be very visible and the water would most likely make the back of the bad lose it stickiness and it would float off into the water. A tampon is the best way to go. Generally, when you go swimming your period lightens up a ton-sometimes even takes a "time out". I wouldn't risk not wearing one at all though, because it could come anyways, or when you step out it all might rush out. There's nothing to it and you cant feel it in you while your swimming around. :) [ FrEe2bMe's advice column | Ask FrEe2bMe A Question ]
