Just keep trying it. If you run hard enough and often enough, your body will eventually adjust and let you get the amount of air you need. If you do this and it doesn't improve, you should probably see a doctor or something to see if you have an actual breathing problem. Also, my coach at school once told me to breathe in for two strides and breathe out for two strides. I don't know if that helps any, but it works for me. Other than that, just keep trying.

Well I know the perfect way. What you have to do is build up cardio vascular strength. It helps keep more breath and I kno because I'm a gymnast. Try running everyday and eventually run more and more everyday. Also you could try biking.

Hope I Helped :)

1st- i would advise you to see a doctor maybe you have an illness of some sort.
2nd- maybe it could be asthma.
3rd- when i run the mile i think...smelll the roses blow out the candles(in through nose out through mouth)it works!
good luck.

i used to run... and i always had a problem with my breathing... and also my running, oops!! but what ive heard has worked for people, has also worked for me... when youre running you should start out (from the very begining) and go all the way til the end just breathing in through your nose and out your mouth... you need to hold each for bout 2-3 seconds. that helps keep your breathing in a rhythm and within no time itll become a habit when you run... the good part about it i found tho, is it takes your mind off the idea of running... which i personally love, since im not really the running type!!... well i hope i helped, feel free to ask me any questions..

after a while, once your body gets used to running hard, you might get over it. also i would suggest pacing yourself or working yourself up during practice(like dont immediatly start running, start with jogging) this will help your body get ready to work hard and your breathing problem will hopefully go away. or talk to your coach.
-hope it helped-
