doesn't brush his teeth!!
okay how gross is this...
on dates with my bf while talking casually about what we've done before meeting each other (usually involving a rush to get out of bed) ect I always list down that I managed to brush my teeth and have a drink before leaving the house... him on the other hand spends his mornings on the computer or watching TV... he doesn't even BOTHER to brush his teeth or anything :S and he tells me this! can you be more of a turn off... ewwww... and once he got really mad at me for not wanting to kiss him but can you blame me!! how do I subtely get the message across to him that that is the biggest turn off like, ever :|
plus, I dunno, is this like a hint he can't be bothered? he's always dragging on about how he doesn't care about his appearance ect.. but after 3 months he's never even complimented how I look and I always try my best, blah...

well you can either break up with him and tell him that its because your getting a little overwhelmed and depressed so you cant handle having a boyfriend anymore and maybe (meaning never) youll get back together someday. good luck

That's awesome he doesn't care about looks. you should tell him that. But you should also tell him appearance and hygiene are totally different things. Man, he should have totally taken my health class, lol. We were shown horrible pictures of people that didn't take care of their teeth. Not a pretty sight. So tell him not only is it a turn on for you for him to keep clean, but it's also helping him in the long run.
And if he still doesn't realize how it's a turn off, eat onions or something smelly and ask him to kiss you. If that doesn't get it to him...gosh...I don't know what will. :P
About him not complimenting you...again, tell him you think it's great he loves you for you and not for your looks, but also tell him you still want to look your best for him only because you care about him and a tiny compliment would be really nice to hear. If he cared just as much for you, he'd at least have a try at it.

Thats crazy. I mean, im all for not caring what others think about you and your appearance and things like that, but there just comes a point when you have to put your foot down and ask yourself is he just not caring what people think about him or is he just crossing the "terrible hygiene" line. I dont blame you for thinking that him not brushing his teeth is unattractive. Not only is it a turn off, it is almost disgusting. If I were you I would just tell him how you felt. Tell him that you like the way he is and his whole grunge attitude is alright, but it's just very unattractive to not brush his teeth. It kinda makes you wonder if he doesnt bother to brush his teeth, what makes you think he's cleaning other parts of his body? Eww! You need to find a way to tell him. Just be straightfoward with him about it~ its cool!

Sounds like you got hold of a slob. There are a few of them out there! You will just have to tell him...You want to kiss me go brush your teeth. Take a shower and put on clean clothes. I don't think all the hints in the world are gonna do it so you might have to do a little threatening! If he doesn't straighten up and you can't stand it any more you'll have to look for a new one. Try to get him straightened out first. :)

hes got a typical lad attitude. well theres two extremes, 1. they dont care about their appearance, or, 2. the are really vain and are checkin themselves out all the time. guys see things differently to girls, things that they see as nothing and dont bother them are big deals to girls and as u said can be a turn off. i dont think this means he isnt interested but if you just tell him how you feel then im sure he will understand and start making more of an effort!

it sounds to me like this guy really doesn't care what others think of him and though that can be a good thing sometimes...in your case its not. You need to tell your boyfriend that you don't understand why he is so sloppy and that it really bothers you. Plus..if he really likes you, he should put some effort into looking good for you

Woah I agree that is sick! You seriously need to tell him how you feel about that. You might not want to but you wouldnt wanna kiss him and its just gross. Maybe he could at least use breath mints. You'd feel better after you tell him. He needs to hear it.
