Dear Friend,

Don't sweat it! There are a range of things you can do to eliminate this nasty problem. Try an anti-perspirant specifically directed at excessive sweating. Wear cool clothing, keep hair off your neck, and drink plenty of water throughout the day.

While strenuous excercise can trigger perspiration, the fitter you are, the less you'll sweat. Aim for three 25-minute sessions of cardio-vascular [Upper body.] work-outs per week, and be sure to shower soon after.

Love,

Ainsley.

well maybe you should try switching deoderant. look for a deoderant that is specifcally for massice sweating. if that doesnt work, a doctor could help. there are could be something medically wrong that could be fixed with some medicine. good luck

Been there! You MIGHT have what I have. It is called hyperhydrosis. Hyperhydrosis means that you have overactive sweatglands. Go to your dermatologist and he might prescribe you something called Aluminum Chloride. It's awesome. I used to use but I moved onto a heavier thing. Its a pill that dries out your whole body. It doesnt hurt or anything. Your mouth just gets dry in the morning lol. But if it's not that, Ban and Certain Dry work good for most. Good luck. Anymore questions? IM me at gre3neyedxgirlx3 xO ali

Obviously that deodorant is not working for you. So go out and buy like 3 different deodorants and try one each day. You just need to find the one that works best for you. You need a stronger one then the one you are using right now. Good luck!

Have you tried a sensitive skin formula of antiperspirant? Dove is great for sensitive skin. If regular antiperspirants are not working, you might consider talking to your family doctor or a dermatologist. Some people have overactive sweat glands which can often be helped with medication or specially formulated prescription antiperspirants.

For a lot of people, they face this problem. Figure out what you do that makes you sweat so much! As you may know, from 1-3 in the aftenoon is the hottest time of the day, so aviod being outside then. Also, during the summer when it is so hot out, you dont want to over-work yourself or you may get dehidrated. So, make sure you limit your activity. Also, this may sound weird, but try mens deodorent! It's supposed to be much stronger...

I hope I helped you out!!! *Much Luck*~Danielle

I have the same exact problem. Certain dri may work for you, although it does not work for me. I plan on seeing a doctor, and yu shood too. It suck, i know. Spray - on deoderants that also say "anti perspirant" would probably be best for you. I hope everything works out for you<3

there's a difference between deodorants and antipersperants. Try using an antiperpersant instead.

anti-persperant makes you not sweat as much, where as the regular deoderant just takes the stink away...about the rash i would say that you need to either switch deoderants or put some cortizone cream on it to make the itch stop!

You should check with your doctor; you may have hyperhidrosis (the medical term for excessive sweating). The good news is that if you do, there are a number of effective prescription treatments.

Good luck!

Karen answered Wednesday July 27 2005, 11:49 am:
Try buying and using Certain Dri. It's not like your ordinary deoderant; it's an anti-perspirant deoderant that makes your sweat pores smaller and you won't sweat as much. You can purchase it at a local pharmacy for less than $10.00 and it's worth the money.
