Depends on if you'll be wanting to print your photos or just have them on your PC or the web.

If you want to print them then i suggest about 5 mega-pixel will be good enough.

If it's to keep on the PC or Web then a 2 Mega-pixel will do just fine.

Just keep this in mind, this more Mega-pixels = the larger you can blow up the photos without distorting them.

I have a Kodak Easy Share; CX7330 Zoom Digital Camera. It's a really great camera and it takes beautiful pictures. You can take action pictures, night pictures, etc. You can even make movies. It's a really cool camera. It holds 24 pictures, but you can always get a card for your camera. I'd suggest taking one of the biggest ones. I got one and it can hold 900 pictures.

and it is incredible. You can take movies with it and it has all sorts of cool effects like septa and black and white. It was a digital zoom up to 10 times. It also has just a regluar olpitical zoom instead of digital zoom. This camera is absolutly amazing. It's a cannon camera. Cannon SD 300

Buy a kodac disposable camera.

Honestly, don't piss away money on a digital camera you will get sick of.

My father-in-law has a Konica Minolta DiMAGE E323 Digital Camera. He uses it for taking pictures of family get-togethers and different scenery they see on trips. It's fairly small, small enough to put in your pocket. It's 3.2 megapixel, has optional zoom, has autofocus, allows you to change the size of your pics, has built-in flash, and can even be used to record short video clips. With a 128 mb memory card, it holds about 48 high resolution pics and around 1164 low resolution pics. It runs $126-199.

The quality of pics with this camera is great. We used it for our wedding pictures.
