LoLo2454 answered Friday July 22 2005, 11:12 pm: No, you dont have to floss. Just brush well. There are also these things called water picks. I have one and I use it every so often whenever I eat popcorn or something. Its like flossing with water. Crazy cool. Ask your orthodontist about it. Hope I helped.
Napalm350z answered Friday July 22 2005, 11:09 pm: No, you don't absolutely have to. The only time that I flossed when I had braces was when I went to the dentist. They do make "Super floss" or somthing that doesnt get torn up and tangled in braces. Ask for that the next time you're over there. [ Napalm350z's advice column | Ask Napalm350z A Question ]

Melanie4981 answered Friday July 22 2005, 10:49 pm: Yeah unfortunately you do have to floss.... you can get some reall cool flavours from the UK tho.... like Cherry-Cola flavoured floss..... I've not seen it myseld yet but apparently it tastes fantastic!!!!
MummuM answered Friday July 22 2005, 10:31 pm: It's very important that you floss, especially with braces. It's just because food gets stuck in between your braces and brackets, so you have to floss in order to get all the food out. So when you get your braces off, you'll have heathy teeth.

qotsa369 answered Friday July 22 2005, 10:21 pm: Yes you HAVE to floss with braces. Its a pain in the ass though so I do it once every few days, which is fine. I've seen people who don't and its nasty because its really hard to clean the plaque off when the braces are there. And it doesn't break the wire thats pretty much impossible.
