Question Posted Thursday July 21 2005, 8:55 pm

I am not big AT ALL, I am very little and I am NOT bragging. I am 13 years old and I'm female, guys don't really want to go out with me because I'm so thin. how do I got more meat on my bones faster than a few mounths or weeks?

P.S. I am 65 pounds.

Maybe you have a higher metabolism than most people and its harder for you to gain weight. I suggest eating more breads and pasta dishes.

ummmm..... well that is seiriosly not your fault try eating more healthier stuff and see i you gain a little bit of wait do some sports and that will help a whole bunch I have a friend that is 13 and she is so skinny that you can see her bones she asked me how can I get a little fatter and I said well try eating more helthier and go in to sports so she tried my advice and it helped so try my advice and email me at brittany_angel12345@yahoo.com or write me in my inbox

eat things like pasta and bread. stay healthy. don't just eat a lot of chocolate or anything! still go for everything in the food pyramid. i hope this works out for you.

The best thing I can advice you to do is eat a healthy balanced diet - if that doesn't help you then I would go and see a nutritionist - you may be just one of those BERY lucky people that can eat what they like but not put on any weight"

Just Eat alot of protein! Like Bananas and alot of things that are high is Calories. But aren't like junkfood really. You can. but that will just give you more bodyfat percentage! But i hope i helped, RATE ME!!!!

Eat more than you usually do. Eat healthy but calorie-laden foods. Also, increase protein intake. Nuts are very good. Lean meats will help build muscle.

Try working out! Build up some muscle mass! Biking and DDR work wonders for the legs, and running and swimming are good total body workouts.

If you are worried though, talk to a doctor/nutritionist.

65 pounds and 13, hmm.. sounds a little fishy to me. But im not here to get into detail. What you need to do, is eat more meals that are bigger. You should try having 4 meals a day with at least 4-5 of the food groups. That is the only healthy way. And keep on excersizing, just not as much. good luck! hope i helped! please rate! xO'ali

well first of all im not sure how tall you are so your weight could be normal if your really short, or you could just be naturally really really skinny. i know ur not anorexic or what other people said cus u obviously want to gain weight. the fastest way to put on weight is to definetly start working out, not to burn calories, but to put on muscle which will make you appear more "meaty", and will put on more weight than fat and will make you look better than if you gained that weight in fat. also in the food department, still try to eat somewhat healthy, dont overstock on the sweets, but do eat lots of good carbs and protein which is still healthy but will put on weight that isnt bad. hope this all works out!

I don't know how tall you are but it seems to me that, unless you're quite short, you're dangerously underweight. Talk to your doctor about how to help gain weight. Exercises that build muscle will make you look bigger but don't go overboard with the exercise since it will burn calories. Try eating higher-fat items while still staying with healthy foods. Whole milk is one option. Higher carb items (breads, pastas) wil also help you gain wait. Larger portions may also help.

1. work out or lift weights to gain muscle(muscle will make u look bigger but it looks better than fat)
2. eat a lotta red meat like cheeseburgers n stuff and foods high in protein...they have like protein shakes and stuff ppl drink to gain weight like football players and stuff ask one o'them

Well the simple answer is this; eat and work out. You do not want the weight you gain to be only weight from fat. Muscle weighs for than fat and you will also look healthier. At your young age, it is not necessary to try to put on weight because later in your life it will be very hard to lose if you gain too much too early. So I suggest working out and gaining muscle weight so that you will look healthy and you will not regret it in the future. I hope I helped some =) Good luck

work out. lift weight. do anything to bulk up.
