When you first have sex you bleed because there is a little thin layer of skin that the guy breaks. If you need more info ask me a question and please give feedback. Hope I helped.

some people bleed and some dont, thats just the wat it is! well if it is weird for him, and it shouldnt be because its just what happens and you cant do anything about it, then he isnt mature enough to be having sex if he doesnt understand it. dont worry about it! you may bleed a little for a few days and be a little sore but thats it!
hope i helped!

You're just "popping your cherry". Some people will bleed and some people won't. You shouldn't be having sex with him unless you're comfortable with the possiblilty that it may happen.

ocbabey41 answered Thursday July 21 2005, 1:05 pm:
ok, every girl has something called a hymn or they like to call it the "cherry" and when you have sex it gets popped, so it does bleed a little thats how you can tell when someone is a virgin or not. it only happens the first time. it could get popped from other things too like from riding horse, bike riding, some sports or if you masterbate, so if you dont bleed its because its already been popped. hope i helped. if you have any more questions you can drop them in my inbox. <3 michelle

Karen answered Thursday July 21 2005, 10:08 am:
This only pertains to females. You bleed because your partner tore your hymen with his penis or in other words, he 'popped your cherry'. You may bleed a lot or you may not bleed at all. It depends if your hymen has already been torn by doing anything else such as inserting a tampon in wrong, riding a bike, sitting wrong, or by masturbating. It shouldn't be weird for the guy because it's natural.

Mackenzie answered Thursday July 21 2005, 2:06 am:
Some women bleed; some do not. You bleed because your Hymen is tearing. It seems terrifying, but it's really nothing to dread. Shore it hurts SOME females... and others have a painless first experience. I'm almost positive your boyfriend understands the possibilities of this occurring. It's not really a big deal....

Alot of times, the first time a girl has sex her hymen (A membranous fold of tissue that partly or completely occludes the external vaginal orifice) will break and causes you to bleed but very minimal. That's what they mean by when you have sex you bleed. This only happens once, but your hymen can break doing anything, riding a bike or a horse, sitting down on a chair, using a tampon, falling... ANYTHING can break it. But often times it breaks when a girl is fingered or has sex.

ncblondie answered Wednesday July 20 2005, 11:31 pm:
Some women do bleed when they have sex for the first time. If you do, don't freak. It's completely natural.

The best thing to do is talk about sex with your boyfriend before you do it. Let him know that it's your first time and you want to take it slow so you'll have time to adjust to his size. Trust me, he'll be flattered. If he takes it slow and is gentle with you, there should be little if any pain or bleeding.

Teza answered Wednesday July 20 2005, 11:27 pm:
When you bleed its normal for the girl if she is still a virgin. It just means he popped your cherry and thats not weird for him because its just a normal thing. So dont worry about it && just enjoy it. ♥ `*

MummuM answered Wednesday July 20 2005, 11:24 pm:
You usually bleed because the person you are having sex with popped your Cherry (Hymen). Not everyone bleeds though, since everyone's body is different. Some people bleed a lot, others a bit and some don't at all. I don't think it'll be too weird for your boyfriend. He knows that if a girl is a virgin and he pops her cherry, it's possible that she'll bleed. It's not really a big deal though hun. Just make sure you're comfortable with him, so you won't feel so embarrassed when this happens.
