You're just "popping your cherry". Some people will bleed and some people won't. You shouldn't be having sex with him unless you're comfortable with the possiblilty that it may happen.

Well it depends on the girl b/c when you losse your virginity you are breaking a bone that you have. Logically your going to bleed but some girls say they didnt bleed. And about your b/f it MIGHT be weird taking your virginity away but it is going to feel good b/c you are tight.....so hes going to like it. This only pertains to females. You bleed because your partner tore your hymen with his penis or in other words, he 'popped your cherry'. You may bleed a lot or you may not bleed at all. It depends if your hymen has already been torn by doing anything else such as inserting a tampon in wrong, riding a bike, sitting wrong, or by masturbating. It shouldn't be weird for the guy because it's natural.
