Hey there ♥ well im not really into stereotypes but basically, my boyfriend is punk, along with his friends. and i am not really preppy or punk or anything, i am just me. but i am friends with his friends and his friends are in a punk band and my boyfriend said he really wants me to go, and so do his friends. the problem is i dont want to wear something stupid, or "slutty" looking and i dont want people to think " why is she here?" so what could i wear.. i have long platinum blonde hair with lots of pink and auburn in it. and i am 5'4 and average with slightly curvey body but the problem is i cant hide my boobs and i dont want people to automatically think im slutty=/... what could i wear or put on for makeup and how should i do the hair? thanksss<3

Well! Don't worry and don't panic!!! Just because your boyfriend and his mates are "punks" doesan't mean that you have to be. I realise that the way the dress en-mass can be quite intimidating and you really want to fit in.
I feel that you should wear what you would feel most comfrtable in.
I would say to wear jeans with rips!!!
A band t-shirt, maybe "Greenday" or "Placebo".
A studded belt and Converse style trainers.
or
Wear a ripped denim mini and fishnets,
A sleeveless "V"-neck top,
Converse trainers / Doc Martins
Wear your hair down!
Make up wear bright shadow, but so it s fairly smokey and long eyelashes. Simple bright lipstick amd a pale foundation.
Remember, although you want to look the same, feel comfortable in what you decide to wear! Ask your boyfriend for his opinion on your first choice and then show him something else and see what he says.

I have been to many a punk show. Looking good does not matter. You will be jumping around and sweaty. Make-up will be sweat off. Shoes will be stepped on.
I understand that since it is your boyfriend will be there you want to impress him, but in my experience, punk guys are a lot more impressed with a girl who will run into the mosh pit and hold her own. And there is no way in hell a girl should be in a mosh pit and have to worry about how she looks.

you cant "hide your boobs"? so that means their hangin out all the time or theres "clevage" to be seen? first off..thats not cool..second, if you DONT have any tops that dont show your boobs then thats sad..so find something that DOESNT show your boobs and youll be fine..if all your shirts are low cut thats not good specially for a rock show..and specially if theres gunna be pits and what not..you didnt really explain what this was very good like if it was gunna be big or not so im just tossing out ideas for wat i think you meant..
your lucky..btw..thats awsome your b/f has friends in a band..and you are able to go to shows and what not..hell if they made it big do you know how many concerts you could get backstage to? ahh thats awsome..ok im off the subject now..but yea i hope that helped..even a little bit..have fun!

well i think maybe a pair of plain jeans or like ripped//distressed jeans! You could wear a band t*shirt or a beater or sumthin like that. With your hair maybe like straighten it to make it super straight!! have fun <3 chelsea

Wear black baggy jeans, a long-sleeved red and black striped shirt, a black T-shirt over it, maybe you can even cut the sleeves a little so that they're frayed, and lots of plastic bracelets. Also, a silver pentacle necklace. And tie your hair with a black or multicolored scrunchy, and wear snake earrings. Not slutty at all, you cover everything.

If I looked like you and I didn't know what to wear. I'd probably just pick a pair of fitted jeans, a fitted tee (plain or vintage--like an old advertisement shirt). And maybe a pair of old school vans? Maybe the slip on kind, in a color that matches your shirt. For your hair, you could leave it down, or scrunch it up and then put it in a messy bun. And just do you normal makeup routine. If you don't usually wear makeup, maybe wear some mascera, eyeliner & lipgloss. Try to stay away from trying to be something your not. You should just be yourself. If you try to be something you're not, it will show and you'll be uncomfortable anyway. I heard a good quote the other day. "It's better to be hated for who you are, then loved for what you're not."
Basic black always works for clothes. Try a pair of black jeans or shorts with a t-shirt advertising your boyfriend's band.
If your boobs bother you, try buying a minimizing bra. They're made to pull your boobs in closer to your body so they don't look as big. Personally I find them uncomfortable, but it's a personal preference.
Slightly loose shirts in a solid color will cover the area without drawing attention to it. A funky pair of earrings, etc will draw the eyes up.
Lastly, people shouldn't judge you by how you dress. If they do, they're probably not worth knowing anyway.

Just be yourself..you don't have to BE punk to listen to punk and to enjoy it. Pink eyeshadow would be good with pink in your hair. Um..if you wear something black..that kinda fits all styles. Just wear like...a pair of black pants and a pink shirt or something..people shouldn't make snap judgements and if they do..they aren't worth it anyways.

well as for hair, not my area of expertise, but just simple or funky. And don't worry about what other people think. People are stupid, its none of their business if they don't know you. As for covering your cleavage and things, wear like a t-shirt or something, not slutty or low cut, but a regular one that should cover everything, not necessarily a turtle neck or anything. Jeans work with pretty much every body type, so that works. Unless you want to go more punk-ish, then ask your boyfriend, find some punk stuff, but you dont' have to dress punk to listen to punk. If you don't think you are dressing slutty, you probably aren't, but that depends. Don't go in like an itty bitty mini-skirt and a low cut tank top type thing, just dress simple, because if you try too hard to dress punk and stuff, then you look like a poser, and thats not good either.
