i babysit little kids, and i think its really fun, but the ppl i babysit for are moving. and its stinks, i have no business and i really need the money
Dakmor answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 7:40 am: If you go to any public clubs or something like that, you could just put flyers that have rippable slips of paper with your phone number on them, that way you're sure to get tons of business!
Also tell you friends to tell their friends & family, etc. [ Dakmor's advice column | Ask Dakmor A Question ]

And Type up a thinq about you and babysittinq and how much you charqe ( It`s best to put a ranqe ) and put them in doctor's offices, dentist, orthodontist and DAYCARES !!! espically daycares because alot of them have bullitin boards for that kind of stuff and all the parents look at them. hope i helped plz rate ! -courtney =) [ ThonqyFriends's advice column | Ask ThonqyFriends A Question ]

Church, the bank, the grocery store, the playground, etc are all good places, just make sure to ask permission first.
Make sure to put your contact information, references, experience, and special skills down. Go for a poster that catches the eye but also makes you look dependable. Make sure to spell check.
Ask the couple you babysit for now if they will give you a reference. A reference is a wonderful item that will assure other parents that their children are safe with you.
If your local YMCA, Red Cross, fire department, etc offers First Aid and CPR classes, consider taking one of these classes, or even both. If somewhere in your town offers childcare classes, consider taking these also. Parents like to know that their children are safe when they're away from them. Having your certification will reassure them that you are responsible and if, in the event something bad does happen, that you know how to handle the situation.
DrJenny answered Monday July 18 2005, 4:54 pm: If the couple you have been babysitting for are pleased with the way you cared for their children, why not ask them to give you a personal reference for future use with other families who maybe don't know you. It could work wonders.
At least that way when you advertise your services, you can add "excellent reference provided".
A little outside my area here, but just a thought. [ DrJenny's advice column | Ask DrJenny A Question ]
babygirl17 answered Monday July 18 2005, 4:06 pm: What you can do is put a ad in your local newspaper.. Saying that you will babysit... Give hours... paying rate.. that kinda stuff.. and maybe that will help get you some babysitting..
