Does it bother anyone else when the members of this site give smartass answers, like "Well that sucks", "Your dumb", "I have no idea". This website keeps getting more and more of these users and personally it bugs me. Anyone else agree?

Actually, no. I either ignore them, or find them somewhat amusing.

Yes everyone agrees. But there is NOTHING we can do about it. Trust me, the mods on this site have tried but we can't keep banning them because there are too many of them. If you go into your profile settings, it says "When browsing the site, should we hide bad columnists from you? (You can still visit their columns, but you won't ever read their advice or see them on columnist search pages.)" There is a drop down arrow, just pick whichever you want and those columnists won't show up. But making this post isn't going to do anything because I guarentee you've already got a few answers that say "That sucks", "You're dumb" or something along those lines.

Yes, it does. But its been happening for a while now. I hope you dont get banned for asking this question since it isnt really a question and thats against the rules. The only thing you can do about them is file a complaint and get them banned for a little while but that definitely wont stop them. And they can always make another name. Talk to advice_admin and she will tell you more about this & read the FAQ. Just try to ignore them. They just <b>think</b> they're funny.

I AGREE! And if you want, you can go to Help/FAQ and look for the place where you can leave complaints about certain columnists, they'll then ban the columnists or temporarily ban them!

Yea i think its pretty shitty that people waste time on sayin three fuckin words that dont help at all.. people come on here wantin advice for some serious questions.. I think some people shouldnt be able to ask some questions that are pretty dumb.. so some people who ask dumb questions get dumb answers you know.. and i know ive gave some smart ass answers to some questions.. ♥ Dez

♥Yes, I think it bothers all of us. The best thing to do is just ignore it, let them be annoying if it makes their lives seem cool to them. If you really can't stand it, go to Column settings (I think thats where it is) and you can block certain users with a rating under 1 or 2.
