Well... if he likes you more than i would say youve got a pretty good chance but maybe if you are really nervous you should ask him straight up " Do you like me 'that way' or were you saying that to be nice? Don't worry about it being a competition. If he is a really great guy who is worth your time, he'll ask you out. If you want to make the first move, just ask him to a movie or something! With any luck, he'll forget about your ex-bff. I don't know what happened between you and her but just make sure you don't intentionally hurt her feelings.

well it is pretty simple you can't just sit around and expect things to come to you you have to get out there and show him whos boss show him you are not ashamed of likeing him or being who you are just ask him.....call him or do it in person talk about something else for a bit then bring it be like hey do you think we would be a good couple and work your way from there.......and if you guys go out and that chick has a problem with it well forget about her cause you got him in the end and she didnt so show him off and be true to yourself
