The beautiful thing called: the internet. Record yourself singing and convert it to an mp3, upload it to your computer and then a website. A good host is www.soundclick.com

I know exactly how you feel mizznicegirl. I love to sing and act but I live in the middle of no where! What I did was ask my parents (maturely) if I could get an agent and if they would mind supporting me and taking me to auditions. You should do the same with your parents!

I hope I helped!

i am a singer too so i know how it feels. But here there is a lot of competition...but to your question. I would get a singing coach...maybe she would be able to tell you about auditions and playhouses close to where you live. And the more you do things like this the more you will get noticed. Maybe make a small demo tape and send it to some record companies. Write your own songs too, then you could make a little demo cd!(thats what im going to do) Hope I helped!

Get into some sort of school singing thing/class/group/whatever. Look for opportunities to do things that will allow you to sing where people can hear you. The more people that hear your voice, the more likely you are to be heard by producers.

Rip something of yours. Send it to me. Let me hear it. I act like a critic and tell you its good or it sucks.

You go on from there.

Never Ever Give Up, That is the Secret, if this is what you want then follow it like thunder to lightning. Keep trying and practicing, and eventually you will be found. It may be in high school or collage, or some other way. Also get in talent shows, choir, acting class, etc. and perform in front of others. The audiences could be family, neighbors, friends, etc. just always perform. That’s what I’m doing with my acting/singing. I hope it works out for you.

cardboard answered Monday June 27 2005, 2:21 pm:
well, you can ask and find out from people honestly, if you are any good or not. then you can do things like singing for charity at your local shoppin centre, school, college, etc.

send in tapes to directors, join a singing and acting school, take part in Pop Idol!

there are loads of ways to get out ther, but you need to be really good to get anywhere, if you have the money, you can actually hire a recording studio and make your own professional album, the upsides of this are that they will know you are serious about singing, and also producers and talent scouts often hang around lookin for people.

remember, kate moss was discovered when she was jus sitting in a bus stop!!!!

goodest of luck, bexi xox
