Normal

Question Posted Friday June 17 2005, 5:45 pm

Okay, I made a new friend at the beginning of this previous school year and we are pretty close. Well, she can get very annoying sometimes and be really aggravating alot. Well, is it normal for me to want to spend time away for her?

Sure it is. Anybody can get on your last nerve if you are around them all the time. Even those we love! :)

no, sometimes when I get really close to a friend, things that didnt use to annoy me would start to be so annoying. if i were you, i would want to spend a little time away from her. being close to someone can sometimes make them seem more annoying than usual, so many like a week or 2 away from each other will help to relieve some of the pressure and aggravation

i used to feel like i needed a break from my best friend, but then when i moved away, but now we're spending less time together cuz I moved away, and our friendship got better because we enjoy the times that we get to see eachother instead of spending it by secretly hating or getting annoyed with eachother

yes it is perfectuly fine N normal for to spend time away from her,i mean if she is being annoying, or even really aggravating, let her know the problem.it is hard sometimes to b honest, and say what you feel to someone you are close to, because you maybe afraid of what kind of response you will recieve back.but the best way to deal with it is, just talk to her completely be honest on how u feel, and what is bothering you.and if she is a good true friend she will understand.i mean you cant spend time with her everyday, you need space and so does she..hope this works for you..take care.

absolutely. i think a break would probably be the best thing for you, seeing as she's probably driving you crazy! take a break, see how you like things, and if you still want to be friends with her, then you can start hanging out again. but most importantly, this is for your sanity, so i suggest you do what's best for you.
