Why is it people who dont know me,act like they do?
So I am at school right now and I just found out people have been talking about me and my friend going out, but she is a girl. I am not bisexual nor am I a lesbian. People are starting rumors and they dont even know me. I am new at this school and I dont know how to cope with it. Lately everyone has been acting like they dont want me here. I've just came for advice on what I should do because right now no one will listen to me. I've tried about everything to just get friend, but I will never change who I am. I know my sexuality and I know I am straight. I wouldn't say I'm not something if I really was. I mean ever since someone started that rumor people will come up to me and ask me if I am a lesbian! It is irritating. Holyoke has been the worst ever since i moved here.Everyone who knows me is back in chicopee, and I just miss everything and the way things used to be.

Ignore them...people will always be mean if life so you just get over it and its perfectly fine to be dating someone of the same sex but maybe if you know you are straight than tell her...but tell her you still want to be friends but you just dont want to date her right now or you can tell the people at ur school how it hurts your feelings

My son has had to endure a lot of that kind of thing, mostly from other boys. One of his responses has been, "I'm sorry, but I'm straight, so you're not really my type, but I'm sure that there are plenty of kids in this school who would be interested in you, so good luck and keep trying!" If the problem persists, he says, "You know, what you are doing constitutes sexual harrassment. How would you like the principal to tell your parents that you have been sexually harrassing other boys?"

Ignore the rumors. Find something you enjoy doing. People who spread rumors do it to make them look cool. If you know the rumors aren't true, don't pay attention to them and they should stop within a couple months. Hope I helped!

I REALLY WANT TO GIVE YOU A HUG!!! i know how it is to change your whole surrondings. i was at a public school and my mom transfered me a private christian skool. there all the kids started calling me a hoe. those people that are at your school are not gonna be there after graduation. hell most of them wont be there next year. you know who you are thats the most important thing. dont change who you are just to fit it. its not worth it. life is crazy things dont always go our way. be patient! in time things will get better. get your grades! so when you have your big time job you can tell them to kiss your lesbian ass!(you know what i mean) i hope i helped.

Wow.. I think that thats really messed up. Those people are just really immature and since you are the new kid they will pick on you. You have to know how to stop it because if you dont say anything it wont stop. The next time someone says that you are a lesbian you have to say it in a way they can all hear and understand. By that I mean yell do whatever so they get the point. Right now you are an easy target for them. Just be sweet to everyone else around you who isnt saying anything rude. Dont even worry about what people say to you when they say something rude to you like that brush it off dont let them know that it gets to you.The only reason why they keep going on about it cause they know that it gets to you.. If you want go and find a boyfriend and they will see that you dont want your friend like that .. If people go up to you and ask if your a lesbian just be like well what do u think and they'll probably say yes if everyone is saying this and say well lemme tell ya something you and all your lil friends are being so gay right now you guys don't know me at all im not a lesbo and ya know what i like ( it might embarrass your self i know but just say some guys name tht is cute or tht u kinda like ). if people are stupid enough to make up stuff about you it just means there jelous of you so dont worry to much. also if people come up to you and ask like if you are lesbian just ignore them because sooner or later it will stop. and as for a friend be yourself and talk to every1
