Then when its all dry..you divide it into layers.. and straighten it like that . That way all if it is done evenly and i can promise you... it will look good.. This is what i do Because i bought a straightener that wasnt to good.. but.. ne ways. . ,dont do it to many times.. or you might kill your hair.. i die mine all the times.. and straighened it like crazy.. and i noticed it started to die.. soo if you do get crazy with the straightener.. then buy pantene prov damage control.. it will help your hair out alot...and look healthy and feel thincker<3 i promise♥ well i hope my advice helps you out
hyperhottiegirl answered Friday June 17 2005, 8:53 am: ok i will but first of all let me tell you DONT STRAIGHTEN YOUR HAIR i got addicting to it for a year and it ruined my hair so i had to get it cut. seriously it is bad but firt of all you need a REALLY thin straightner that you can buy on ebay for like $20 so first of all just take little strands of hair and straighten it one by one and also make sure that your hair is dry before straightening it because if it is wet it will burn your hair. and after you straighten your hair use a shampoo and conditioner like pantene proven because it will work better. hope i helped ~JORDAN~ [ hyperhottiegirl's advice column | Ask hyperhottiegirl A Question ]
sunrise2891 answered Thursday June 16 2005, 2:34 pm: You could get it chemically straightened. My friend had that done and it is completely straight. The only problem is, you cant get chlorine (from a pool) in your hair for about a month. Its also kinda expensive too. But trust me, it works like magic! pinkfairy1773 answered Thursday June 16 2005, 8:28 am: ok i have never done it before but ive seen one of my Preppy friend doing it to other prep girl
and i am mentining prep because they are good at those stuff =)
ok fisrt i guess it depends on how curly your hair but this works for most people.
1.wet your hair a little ...dont soak it...
use one of those spray thing... and dampen it...
2. section your hair...
3. use the straigtner section by section
4. until it IS straight...
and trust me... its easier when you have someone do it for you... like friends or some sort...
and if you dont want to do that all day,,, then go to the salon and ask them to do it permanetly for you. my friend has curly hair and she said her parents will get it permanetly straightnen when she turns 15 and shes now 15 and im going to salon with her tomorrow =)

K2204 answered Wednesday June 15 2005, 8:59 pm: do sections at a time, and blow dry it first, make sure your straightner is hot
FoxyBeFun answered Wednesday June 15 2005, 7:52 pm: ok first you should use a chi straightener, I useded to have a vidal sassoon and it totally fryed my hair.
ok first
-Wash and condition hair
-Blot dry
-Gather up hair into several sections and secure or clip hair on top of your head. Dry the bottom layers first.
-Follow the brush (with your dryer) down the sections of hair as you straighten each section and be sure to keep the dryer moving.
-Take down a new section of hair and procede as directed above.
-Work your way up the layers until all sections are dried and straightened.
After that take your straighting iron and straighten it with that too(pull it into sections and straighton each section at a time). Don't do this to much though because its not good for your hair.
-be sure to give your hair a break and allow it to dry naturally as often as possible
-use products formulated for your hair type. It does make a difference

sunkistsarah answered Wednesday June 15 2005, 6:00 pm: you need a better straightener, like CHI or hot tools...but if you cant get one of those then you should blowdry your hair straight before using the iron. and when your are straightening, dont do big sections at once, do smaller sections and it will be straighter...hope this helps... Xsweetpeax26 answered Wednesday June 15 2005, 5:15 pm: you dont apply serum AFTER drying your hair.
use Neutrogena Moisterizing shampoo and conditioner, its pink.
* Shower
* Put Paul Mitchell, gloss drops. one or two drops, depending on lenth of hair. (jewel. 12.00)
* Pin up the top of your hair, and blow dry in sections. do not move on to the next section until the previous section is completley dry. and straight, use round brush, but careful not to curl much unless you wna it that way.
* when hair is dry, pin it up again just as before, only this time STRAIGTHEN in sections. it helps to use a pump hair spray (not aerisole can) and continue straightening so it stays.
