Fruity Smoothies Does anybody know any Fruity Smoothies that are good for you, and don't have a lot of extra sugars and fats. So basicly recipes for a healthy smoothie?

A really good smoothie is a mix of pulp-free orange juice, frozen strawberries, 3/4 of a banana and vanilla yogurt. Blend this all up and you've got a really yummy and decently healthy smoothie. ]

a strawberry-banana smoothie. I dunno. put a strawberry and a banana in a blender and drink it??? Put "smoothie" things in it I guess. ]
strawberries, low fat milk, low fat ice cream and some ice in a smoothing maker. yummy.
(i dont the eaxact measurements b/c my mom makes it and she estimates for everything.) <3 ]
I'd say--Bannanas, Strawberries, Blueberries, Oranges crushed up with ice and maybe a tiddly bit of milk or non-fat yogurt would be quite tasty.

This is a healthy tropical smoothie recipe I got from the magazine Cosmo Girl.
It is high in fiber, antioxidents and protein. It should help you keep energized all day.
1 kiwi, peeled and cut into 1/4 inch chunks
half a mango, peeled and cut into 1/4 inch chunks
1 cup orange juice
2 cups apple juice
1 cup extra-firm light tofu (found in the produce section)
Combine the ingredients in a blender on high until smooth (about 30 seconds.)

Try a banana & strawberry smoothie *i make them all the time*
You'll need
1. 1 banana
2. cup of strawberries *w.o the leafs on em .. lol
3. milk
4. ice
5. vanilla ice cream *can be subsituted with low fat vanilla yogurt
You'll need to do ..
Out all ingredients in the blender and blend for appx. 30-40 seconds, then enjoy! Hope you like it!

YUMMY!! Strawberry-Banana Smoothie!!
2 small bananas
1 cup frozen unsweetened whole strawberries
1 8-ounce carton vanilla low-fat yogurt
3/4 cup milk
Directions
1. Peel bananas. Cut bananas into chunks. Place banana chunks, frozen strawberries, yogurt, and milk into blender a container.
2. Cover blender and blend on high speed about 1 minute or until mixture is smooth. Turn off blender. Pour drink into 2 glasses. If desired, serve with pieces of toast spread with peanut butter. Makes 2 servings.

Well i make protein smoothies for my step dad all the time and they dont taste that bad.. basically all you need is ice.. and your choice of fruit and put it in a blender and let it get all blended together but he buys the portein stuff from bally's so he gets more protein but im sure you can stuff like that anywhere.. but i think just the fruit and ice blended together taste pretty good and its not unhealthy.. ♥ Dez ]
