i had been going through the same thing with you. but she moved to different country...so i never got to saw her again. but keeping in touch is good with emails phone calls and special packages. you can write poems if she's artsy. and hand made stuffs are more meaning ful if you are really close friends. better than store bought.

so try making bracelets and self decorating frame with 2 of you together pic...

it will be really meaningful~ =)

you can make that person a card filled with some real great memories that happened between you two.

Make a scrapbook
or maybe a calender for the upcoming year.
i know i'd love that. or Maybe get a BIG card and get EVERYONE to sign it saying how much they'll miss her. maybe even all 3! lol

Maybe you can get her somthing that she has always wanted { but don't make it to expensive }. or you can get all of her friends & u to make her a giant card, & have each one of them sign and/or write a little comment about how nice she is, or what a great friend she was, ect. I think that will really make her feel better.

This is just an idea but i would suggest making a movie about her last day there. Take her out all around town and record everything on the way for her.

Put together a hand-made scrapbook of different photos of you, her, and her other friends. A friend of mine did this for buds of ours who were moving out of state, and they really appreciated it. If you have other things (old drawings, notes, or general silly objects that hold memories) that you can add, that'd be great too.

You should have her and all of your friends go out to dinner. Then come back and have a fun sleepover. Just talk and bring her presents that will always remember you guys. You could go to the spa, mall, get your nails done, all of those girly things. She would love it and be so happy that she has a friend who would do all of that for her! ♥
