strep throat?
the other day my throat was really soar and now one of my tonsils is very swollen and has lindents like a golf ball...and i have a cough that is deep and i have a lot of mucas and a runny nose... could this be strep throat?

Wow, that sounds horrible. No, streap throat is bad, but not as bad as your tonsils being that swollen. You seriously need to see your doctor. You might have to get your tonsils removed, or something.

I've had strep throat a lot and usually when I have it I get a fever, white spots on my tonsils, an upset stomach, and I am not able to talk. If you have a fever, I suggest visiting your doctor.

Well I can tell you one thing, honey, you've got something screwed up. Could you go see a doctor? The conditions seem pretty extreme... LINDENTS like a GOLFBALL? how do you breathe?

it's hard to say. your best bet would be to go to a doctor. no one in the world knows better.

it could be mono. I had this last summer and my tonsils got so swollen that it was going to close off my throat if i didnt go see a doctor. I would go to a doctor as soon as possible. They told me if i didnt get in there i would have either had to have a needled jabbed into my throat to have the fluid removed from my tonsils or get the tonsils removed. Yeah, so go to a doctor. I dont mean to freak you out hun, i just dont want this to happen to you

With stRep thRoat you can almost always see white lumps on the back of youR tongue, kinda *by youR taste buds. If this continues the next few days, peRhaps it would be best if you scheduled an appointment with youR physician.

It sounds like it could possibly be strep throat. You should probably go to the doctor to find out if you actually do have it. I dont think it would be allergies because allergies usually aren't to that extent. Be sure to watch out for more symptoms of strep: headache, stomachache, and fever. If you have any of these in addition to your current symptoms, theres probably a good chance you have it.

heyy .. yes this could be strep throat you should go to the doctors to get this checked out i once haad strep throat and i went to have it checked out and all they do is stick a popsicle looking thing down your throat and take it right back out it doesnt even hurt that much

Yes it could be strep throat but it could be alot of things.. i think the best thing to do right now is go to the doctor cause you apparently are sick and need some sort of medicine before it gets worse.. ♥ Nikki
