Children Story..

Question Posted Saturday May 21 2005, 9:08 pm

For my Spanish class we have to write a 28 page book (with pictures of course) Kindergarten-6th grade, we have to choose. So, which age group do you think would be best for the project, and what do you think would be fun and interesting to read if you were a kid? Thanks..

definitely lower than 2nd grade because all other grades will just laugh and not pay attention to you..but 2nd and lower love having visitors

look at all the other stories they read (fairy tales) make a book similar to those
good luck-

i think kidergarten would be easier because you could use more pictures and less words because it would be a childrens book and the 6th grade book might be kind of hard to do. hope it helps good luck

Maybe an adventure book. Something easy and that free translation thing doesnt work. Is different for the way your teacher will understand.

4-6 years. Try The Gruffalo-I'm not sure who the author is though. It has won loads of prizes for being one of the best childrens books and my sister is a teacher and when she reads a story they always choose that one - it has great pictures too. Hope this helps x

you should do kindergarten so the vocabulary is small and kids will be amused at just about anything ♥

well if you wanna write with really small vocab, the younger the better. if you want somethin to show off how much spanish you know, write somethin for 3-4th grade. by the way, spanish is my first language so let me know if you need anything. <3

Well, In my spanish class we read a book which seemed directed at young kids as in it was very repetitive. This is practically what it said...kinda: This is a firetruck. These are firemen. They ride in a firetruck. (but on different pages) So I personally think 1st grade is a good age. Write about something you know alot of vocabulary on so that you don't have to look up a lot of words. For me, I would write a book about someone having a birthday and all their family coming and opening presents, because I know most of the vocabulary.

Good Luck.

I would probably write about/for Kindergarten. I'm not exactly sure if you're talking about you having to write a story ABOUT these grades or FOR kids in those grades - but either way, Kindergarten is always a fun time in people's lives, and theres no end to what kind of silly trouble little kids get into that you can write about. Good luck, hope I helped! ♥
