hey i am really stuck on this essay topic-we have to come up with our own thesis(own supporting ideas) and we have to somehow compare the novels..To Kill a Mockingbird and The House on Mango Street..if you have any ideas I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks sooo much!

if they both involve that motif then maybe that would work

All I know is that To Kill A Mockingbird is about judging people. One man because he is black
and then Boo Radley because he is different. I have never read House on Mango Street. I read everything I can get my hands on though. Who wrote it and is it any good? Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck with your essay.

You might try looking up both on the internet...or the authors and see if they have anything that would be of help to you. :)

I haven't read the House on Mango street but find a common theme and then be like...

" The theme of "blah" is supported in To Kill A mockingbird and The House on Mango Street"
