Over excersizing? Okay so, I babysit everyday for 2 hours which some people have told me will burn alot of calories then as soon as I get home I do 2 hours/an hour and a half of dancing then if I have time I do 30 minutes of skipping (rope jumping)
I'm not doing it to lose weight it's just to stay in shape and keep me busy since I have nothing better to do.
Loads of people have told me I'm over excersizing and I know for a fact it's dangerous to over excersize.
Am I over excersizing?

i don't think you are over exersizing i think you are just very active and by the way if you were you would know it because your body would let you know. ]
Well, the recommended amount of exercise is now 90 min. per day.
I would say your exercise is excessive, but not dangerous as long as you keep hydrated and don't get TOO out of breath. ]
No, you are defintely not, don't listen to others. I'm just like you. I mean everyone should stay in shape. I babysit and I'm on the poms squad and we're going to have practice like every day fron 3:15pm to 5:15pm. I think what you're doing is totally healthy.

Your not over exercising you are just trying to stay in shape.. I kno alot of people that do just as much work and exercising as you to stay in shape.. and they are really itty bitty or nething.. they are just fine... ]
I think you should talk to your doctor about how much you've been exercising and come up with a good workout plan for you. It does seem like you're probably over-exercising, but if I were you I'd leave that decision to the professionals. Try cutting back a bit, because you don't want to end up burning more calories than your body actually takes in. ]
Yup, i heard that babysitting DOES happen to burn a lot of calories too.
I mean, picking up that baby and changing its diapeers, dang....yeah you're right. Now that i think about it, its burns a crap load of calories.
Odd, cuz most babysitters just sit on the couch and make sure the kid doesnt leave the house. ]
heyy .. yea you are over excerizing you have to stop all you should be doing is the babysitting and another of of the things you do now for like and hour or an hour and a half and if you wanna stay in shape join something like cheering or dance get active

Babysitting cannot be counted as exercising. You may burn calories from chasing pesky kids, but hopefully not consistently enough to say "wow. this is exercise"!
I used to over-exercise (I had became addicted!) and became very sick, and started to ache for weeks even if I took a break. You don't want to reach this point. I exercised for 3 - 5 hours a day. Most experts say that all you need is 30 minutes of exercise a day to stay fit, and I agree.
Personally, If I were you I'd probably cut it back at least an hour. I'm not you, and if you aren't getting sick often or having your muscles ache, don't worry about it. There was a point where I couldn't turn my neck because of disks because out of place from over-exercising.
Take it easy. I don't want you to get sick and suffer like I did. Also, if you're going to continue exercising this much, make sure you are eating enough! Get at least 2000 calories a day if you get a great deal of exercise like this, otherwise you may find yourself sickly underweight as well like I did. I wasn't building any muscle because of this, despite all of my exercising.

Well i think if your your not tired and its not taking time from other things and you eat right and stuff i dont think that would be over exercising.. nothing worng with using your time to exercixe most people would sit around and eat when they aint got nothing better to do.. much luv dez x0x0 ]
as long as you feel healthy,and your not over tired then these workouts are right for you.I dont think your over exerciseing it all depends on people's bodys.you do 3 to 4 hours and 30 minutes i wouldnt have the time,but as long as you feel healthy,then you should be fine!! I envy you,you must be in great shape!! ]
