help!! okay i dont know what to do, for about three weeks now my hair has been falling out in like little clumps and when i wash it or brush it so much hair falls out, i dont know what to do because about half my hair is already gone! its not really noticable that its been falling out though cause my hair was really think to begin with. i eat more than the required enough amount of protien so i was wondering what could be causing this?? could it be my medicene...amitriptyline? please help i will rate 5s for anyone who can help me!

omigawshhh lol mine comes out too in the shower !! im going bald for sure ! no jk im not going bald but my hair comes out becuase theres hardly any water pressure and im 13 so my body is changing and yadda yadda yadda . so anyway your hair may be falling out for my reasons but there are also two main factors which are stress and lack of sleep.

It isn't listed as a side effect but that doesn't mean much. It still could be the cause. Check with your doctor. You need to find out why for sure one way or the other. If it is the med your doctor can put you on another. :)

Yes it could be your medicine or it could be the start of something bad so I would get it checked out by a docter quick for the saftey of you.

are you eating enough? i know anorexic people lose hair. i lose clumps of my hair to and yes it is scary. i think it is just a part in growing up but just in case buy a certain shampoo or ask a doctor.

taht has all the side effects of your medicine, i didnt see hair loss on there but i might have missed it. use the search feature in case you are taking any other medicine. otehr than that i dont really know, worst case scenario its cancer though from what i know its chemotherapy not the actual cancer taht makes hair fall out.
