Hi Nataie,

I can understand your problem. I sometimes have the same issue when I am in school or have a very busy day. Thats why I always pack an apple or a small pack of crackers and some water to snack on during the day. If your watching your weight then I suggest packing an apple, stawberries, mini-carrots, or celery sticks (all of which are low/no calorie foods which when you digest them actually cause you to burn more calories then you consume.) If your not watching your weight pack a mini-bag of chips/crackers/pretzels. And don't forget the water (you could have juice or soda, but water is better for you.) I hope this helps you! Good luck.

nothin with acids.. maybe you can try prezels. or something like that..no chips.. i think prezels are the best thing.. you might want to have water too. also, when you get up streach out your stomach.. like bend you back backward.. it helpes
also eat a good breakfast.. a big one too. that should help. and also a big dinner, or a good diner.. and good stuff for lunch too. like protien and blaahh all the fun stuff =)

Like everyone else said, eat a big breakfast. Something else you can do is keep a water bottle with you in class, because chances are those are permitted and food is not. The water won't cease your hunger, but it will fill your stomach up so it doesn't growl.

well im always starving during my classes. basically i always eat a big breakfast in the morning that way it kinda helps my stomach from growling, but if you dont have that much food at all at home in the mornings then pack a sandwhich or something thats not so noisy and messy, that way you can take a few quick bites when you're stomach is growling... i always do that in class weither we're allowed to or not. if you're allowed to then just simply ask the teacher if you're allowed to something if you brought it and if they say yes then go ahead and eat, if they say no then i always just sneak a bite here and there...but if you do this then DON'T GET CAUGHT! if you want any more specific details then you can always ask me

Karen answered Wednesday April 20 2005, 6:54 pm:
My stomach would growl at school also, since I don't eat breakfast during school days, but when it did, I would snack on crackers. It helped and my stomach doesn't make noises that much anymore. A granola bar will also help and prevent your stomach from making noises.

If you have to time in the morning, start eating breakfast. If you don't have time, then wake up earlier because if you eat in the morning, your stomach won't growl. But eating snacks during school will help.

Protein takes the longest to digest. It will stay in your stomache longer. Nuts have a lot of protein, but use them sparingly, they are high in fat. Myself, I just chew on mentos mints. They will get me through until lunch.
Hope this helps
