1. Cigarettes- Smoking increases the risk of coronary heart disease and heart attack to up to five times the normal risk. Smoking also increases the risk of emphysema and cancer. Strokes, sudden infant death syndrome, and an increase in the effects of cystic fibrosis and asthma. Cigarette smoking should affect blood pressure and heart rate.
2. Marijuana- Marijuana affects your brain. Marijuana affects your lungs. Marijuana can limit your body's ability to fight off infection. Long-term marijuana use can even increase the risk of developing certain mental illnesses. Marijuana can be laced with other dangerous drugs, sometimes have substances such as crack cocaine, PCP, or embalming fluid added.
3. Crack- The effects of crack cocaine include aggressive and paranoid behavior, feelings of restlessness, irritability, and anxiety. Change in behavior and mood, the effects of crack cocaine are constricted peripheral blood vessels, dilated pupils, and an increase in temperature, heart rate, and blood pressure, as well as a decrease in appetite. The most extreme effect of crack cocaine can happen the very first time or any of the following times an individual uses crack cocaine. This effect is known as "instant death" or "sudden death". Sudden death takes place when the users' body chemistry is imbalanced to the slightest degree. This releases toxic chemicals into their body creating a reaction within the individual resulting in cardiac arrest. This negative reaction to crack cocaine's toxic chemicals is the cause of "sudden death". When people mix crack cocaine and alcohol, they are compounding the danger each drug poses and unknowingly forming a complex chemical experiment within their bodies. The human liver combines crack cocaine and alcohol and manufactures a third substance, cocaethylene, that intensifies crack cocaine's euphoric effects, while possibly increasing the risk of sudden death. The short term effects of crack cocaine can be felt upon users initial hit of crack. The individual begins to feel the effects of crack cocaine immediately; they experience an increase in energy, temperature, mental alertness, heart rate, constricted blood vessels, as well as a decrease in appetite. The long term effects of crack cocaine affect the user physically, mentally, and emotionally. An individuals long term effects from crack cocaine vary from person to person depending on their length and intensity of abuse. In general, the long term effects of crack cocaine include restlessness, mood change, irritability, auditory hallucinations, extreme paranoia, and eventually and rather quickly, addiction. Irregular heart beats, heart attacks, cardiac arrest, convulsions, loss of oxygen to vital organs and stroke have all been seen in crack cocaine users.
4. Acid- Acid can turn you into a gibbering, giggling wreck, make the world seem like a magical place. There are no known physical side effects associated with acid use, nor is there any evidence of brain damage. There are some psychological risks, however, particularly for those with a history of mental problems. Avoid taking acid if you're already feeling pissed off as this could result in a bad trip. People have been known to harm themselves under the influence of acid.
5. Meth- The drug may irreversibly damage the brain leading to depression, suicidal impulses and schizophrenia.users often suffer schizophrenia, manic depression. The drug may permanently alter the brain.

there you go its alot of info to help you out. hope i helped. good luck.

xxBrOkEnxx answered Saturday April 16 2005, 5:03 pm:
1. cigarettes-Cigarette smoking accounts for at least 30% of all cancer deaths. It is a major cause of cancers of the lung, larynx (voice box), oral cavity, pharynx (throat), and esophagus, and is a contributing cause in the development of cancers of the bladder, pancreas, liver, uterine cervix, kidney, stomach, colon and rectum, and some leukemias.
About 87% of lung cancer deaths are caused by smoking. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death among both men and women, and is one of the most difficult cancers to treat. It is very hard to detect when it is in the earliest, most treatable stage. Fortunately, lung cancer is largely a preventable disease. Groups that promote nonsmoking as part of their religion, such as Mormons and Seventh-day Adventists, have much lower rates of lung cancer and other smoking-related cancers.
Other HealthProblems
But cancers account for only about half of the deaths related to smoking. Smoking is also a major cause of heart disease, aneurysms, bronchitis, emphysema, and stroke, and contributes to the severity of pneumonia and asthma.
Tobacco has a damaging affect on women's reproductive health. It is associated with reduced fertility and increased risk of miscarriage, early delivery (prematurity), stillbirth, and low birth weight in infants. It has also been linked to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
Smoking has also been linked to a variety of other health problems, including cataracts, hip fractures, and peptic ulcers.
Furthermore, the smoke from cigarettes has a harmful health effect on those around the smoke. (Refer to the American Cancer Society documents "Secondhand Smoke" and "Women and Smoking."
2. marijuana-The parts of the brain that control emotions, memory, and judgment are affected by marijuana. Smoking it can not only weaken short-term memory, but can block information from making it into long term memory. It has also been shown to weaken problem solving ability.
3. crack/coke-Cocaine, both in powder form and as crack, is an extremely addictive stimulant. An addict usually loses interest in many areas of life, including school, sports, family, and friends. Use of cocaine can lead to feelings of paranoia and anxiety. Although often used to enhance sex drive, physical effect of cocaine on the receptors in the brain reduce the ability to feel pleasure (which in turn causes the dependency on the drug).
4. The effects of LSD strongly depend on the mental state of the user and the circumstances in which the drug is used. Therefore, the same dose can produce good and bad ‘trips’ in the same person, depending on the circumstances in which the drug is used.changes in mood an sensory perception;‘mind expansion’ as a key to quasi-religious transcendental experiences; and
effects similar to those associated with Ecstasy-type substances: feelings of empathy and increased sociability.a growing tolerance to the drug, which disappears quickly after use of the drug is stopped;flashbacks (that is, short-lived, intense re-experiences of part of a previous trip) which can occur days or even months after the last dose has been taken, leading to disorientation, anxiety and distress;and prolonged anxiety and depression after use of the drug is stopped
5. Methamphetamine-Known on the street as meth, speed, chalk, ice, crystal, and glass, methamphetamine is an addictive stimulant that strongly activates certain systems in the brain.

thats just mostly to the brain

JazzY answered Saturday April 16 2005, 9:44 am:
Cigarettes are GROSS. We learned about them in health. You could get hairy tongue, yellow teeth, blackened lungs, emphazema, wrinkles, bags (under you're eyes, I mean), & they will really change your physical appearance. You'll be shorter of breath and you're at risk for more heart attacks.

Marijuana, Crack, and Cocaine are really bad. You can get brain damage, you won't be able to speak as fast or think as fast, you'll look really bad and you'll totally regret it if you ever quit. They will dull your senses too.

As for Acid and Meth, I'm going to check up on them.

When using meth, you could start suffering from hallucinations and paranoia.
When using Acid, you will also suffer from hallucinations and until the drug is done with you (which can take up to 12 hours), you could suffer from panic attacks, confusion, depression, and weird delusions.

I hope I helped you out. PLEASE get off the drugs. They are gross and you don't want to look 50 when you're like 20 or something. Good luck and please get help with this stuff.
