shootingstar25xo answered Tuesday March 29 2005, 3:40 pm: Sort of. This is that kind of idea that I think could go either way, like a debate or something. Personally, I say yes, you can be suicidal, without having ever attempted suicide. Being suicidal simply means "likely to attempt suicide", so I guess that is pretty much self-explanatory. If someone you know said they are suicidal or something along the lines of that, you need to get them help and FAST! hope i helped. Karen answered Tuesday March 29 2005, 3:06 pm: Yes, it's possible to be suicidal but to not have attempted suicide because if you think about commiting suicide or anything that is related to suicide, that's being suicidal.

karenR answered Tuesday March 29 2005, 12:18 am: Suicidal is having thoughts of suicide.
Suicide is the act of killing yourself.
So yes indeed you could think about it but not do it.
People who are suicidal need to get professional help or talk to an adult about their thoughts though because they are nothing to mess with.:} [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

freun989 answered Monday March 28 2005, 10:59 pm: Very possible. It's hard to notice in yourself the signs of suicide, but just relax and live life. Suicide is not the answer to anything. It solves nothing. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Think of this, once someone has committed suicide, they're family and friends suffer. It costs them money for a funeral and other such things. It hurts the people around you as well. Sit down and have a serious talk with a good friend, parent, adult figure, or counselor and they will help you work out your problems. [ freun989's advice column | Ask freun989 A Question ]
