Erinn_the_bamf answered Thursday March 24 2005, 7:22 am: Yes, I really think you should confront you're fear. Go to the dentist. Your dentist may recomend some sort of treatment or braces. Don't be afarid of braces. You can get the clear kind so they sren't noticable. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck [ Erinn_the_bamf's advice column | Ask Erinn_the_bamf A Question ]

xxASKAWAYxx answered Wednesday March 23 2005, 7:16 pm: Try going to your orthodontist and ask him/her what is best for you. I would recommend braces. They arent that bad and its the best way.

Emily88 answered Wednesday March 23 2005, 6:58 pm: well if your not worried about braces then they would be your best bet. but i have heard of this invisible retainer that they make in the shape of your teeth and they adjust it every once in a while. its clear so you just slide it on your teeth and it looks like nothing is there. But i think they might be a little pricey.

LexybelNLisa answered Wednesday March 23 2005, 5:45 pm: Hey.. im not sure what you mean by confront your fear. but you should definitely get braces, it might take 2 years or so, but it will be sooo worth it because then you will never have to worry.. the sooner you go to an orthodontist, the sooner you can get your teeth fixed. Do not wait forever, it will just get worse. Also, for your age you might be embarrased with braces, so get the clear ones, the ones that aren't really braces.. or get lik clear colors and stuff. pretty'N'pinK answered Wednesday March 23 2005, 5:01 pm: braces i know theyre expensive but if you really care about your smile and it bugs you, thats your best choice, or you could get a retainer to wear at night if you dont want to go around with braces on. jbdreamer answered Wednesday March 23 2005, 4:36 pm: Your right, the longer you wait to do something about your teeth, the worse they will get. And surgery will become more evasive and painful. Be brave and get it over with!
Hopefuly you have dental insuance. I need my wisdom teeth out, but waited out of fear, and now I don't have insurance, and they continue to get worse.
