umm i almost have a 100$ and i wanna buy a pet my mom doesnt like reptiles or any thing that smells and my nana dont like anything that makes alot of noise that will make the dogs bark and my friend is guna make her chinchillas have babies but that might take awhile so should i wait to get a chinchilla or i might be able to get a guinea pig but i dunno please help!!!

fish. they make great cheap easy to take care of and come in a varietey of colors!there just like ipods!that was a joke...also i don't think chinchilas act good around dogs. ask a pet store manager.

Well it's all your own personal decision, but i would suggest getting a Chinchilla. Your friend might let you have a baby Chinchilla for free, or for not very much money, so you could save your 100$ for it's cage and food, and still have more left over for other things. Also chinchillas are soooo incredibly soft and huggable. They have the softest fur i have ever felt, and they are very tame and mild mannered. Guinea Pigs makes lots of loud annoying squeaking nosies when they are hyper... during the night alot of the time too. They can also carry deadly dieases. I would wait for the perfect pet.... a baby Chinchilla!!! Hope this helps you!

AHHHH.....guinea pigs are so annpying. they make noise all the time. there is no end to the squealing! wait for the chinchillas! your mother and your nana will thank you. save the money and get something else that you want/need.

well i had a guine pig named surgar and it made noise but not alot so that might be a good idea or try a cat they don't make much noise and there really loveable and they even get along with doges or try a local pet store and just look around to see what the offer and tell them what you can and can't have the will probley give you lots of things good luck in finding your pet hope you like it.

I would decide depending on the price. Get the cheapest one. But just 'cause you get the cheapest one doesn't mean that it's going to be the easiest to take care of.

Guinea pigs smell sometimes.
You could get more than one tropical fish seeing as you have nearly $100 but you'd have to learn what temperature the water should be and what not seeing as they're tropical.
Or you could just be patient and wait for the chinchilla then you've got $100 to spend on whatever you want.

hey, i wouldn't get a guinea pig! I'll tell you why. Guinea pigs require a lot of attention. They can be very lonely creatures if they don't have a companion. The person with the guinea farm, well thats why they are so much fun to that person. They all have friends! They take an extrordinary amount of care. Guinea pigs cages need to be cleaned just about every day. It is not healthy for them to be arround their own garbage. They also require special diets to keep them happy and healthy. Fresh produce and grains! That adds up to a lot of money. As far as chinchilla's go. Again a bad choice. They can be very nippie (bight a lot). They to have very special diets etc etc. Try to stay away from larger animals and rodents. Go for somthing like gerbils, mice, or even rats. HAHA HAAH Yeah thats right rats! They really have a bad reputaion. Rats are actually ideal pets if you can get past all the yucky rumors. They are actually very clean animals. They are constantly preening themselves. They are easily trained (they actually learn to come when called)They adore people when purchased as a baby, are cheap to feed and easy to take care of. You won't be sorry.

chinchilla!!!! those things are really cool, plus your friend is going to give it to you for free!<< i think. If it isnt the case go with what is cheaper. Maybe research on what is a better pet. I hope this helps! xoxo BLONDE911

if you really want a cinchilla i say wait, but then again i don't know what a chinchilla is! lol. but if you do get a guinea pig, i eould be sooo happy to answer any questions you might have! i have a guinea pig farm! lol yea it sounds kinda funny! i have 60 guinea pigs!! but remember, animals are expensive. with guinea pigs, there is the cage, the bedding, the food, the water thingy, the little chew toy, and the little igloo. (guinea like to usually be under something. so you can buy this thing to put in their cage and it looks like a miniature igloo!)
