AskMegan answered Thursday March 10 2005, 10:41 am: You can phsyically force her into school, but that just causes drama. Here is what you do. Call the schools police officer, I can't remember the exact name, but call them and have them drag her out of bed, and trust me, they can and will do it. That'll get the brat to school.
chaos answered Thursday March 10 2005, 8:56 am: If you drop out of school before 18 in my state, you cannot get a driver's license. It could be possible that if she doesn't go, her parents go to jail or get fined. Yeah, try talking to a school counselor because something is wrong with her. I do know there are truancy laws about kids going to school but they vary from state to state. Your parents can probably call the school superintendant and find out for sure. They may want to check with school or have a real heart to heart talk with your sister....actually you might be best one to have the talk with her, and find out why it is she doesn't want to go.Maybe she is being picked on or something. TeenageCupid answered Thursday March 10 2005, 4:55 am: Well, your parents should find out "why she doesnt want to go to school". Maybe she's facing a problem there. You can't quit school just like that, talk to her about the consequences. But first find out why she doesnt wanna go. Im sorry to say this, but if she wont talk to you, you have to take her to a counselor and it better be a good one.
My school councelor was facing the same problem, a girl refused to go into the class. I dunno how she handled it, but the girl has no problem with the school now. [ TeenageCupid's advice column | Ask TeenageCupid A Question ]
Altazuma answered Thursday March 10 2005, 4:36 am: You might want to look into home school packages or whether there is a correspondence school (this was the term from the country I grew up in - not sure if it applies where you are - basically a school where you do your work by mail/email/etc designed mainly for kids on farms well away from any established school) she can attend.
You best course of action it seems to me is to stop trying to force her to go but instead spend twice as much effort trying to find out why she is so set on not going. Whats going on there? What kind of rpoblems is she having there? [ Altazuma's advice column | Ask Altazuma A Question ]
StlzBootyliciousBabe answered Wednesday March 9 2005, 11:37 pm: i dont think she can drop out if shes not 16 bcuz my friend had to wait till she was 16 to drop out even tho her parents and my mom and a whole bunch of other friends tried to convince her not to drop out and they even cried beside her and she still made a really stupid choice you should show your sister what would happen to her is she really dropped out like get a picture of some old lazy on the streets and get like things that would be bad if she dropped out(no boys like dropout old ladys with rats pickin at her toes everytime she drops a crumb of bread or something) haha that sounded funny well if your sister likes guys shes not going to egt a guy if she has no job when she gets older and shes not going to be able to watch tv have friends go to the movies shop at the mall get any clothes and so on...your sister is going to make a really stupid choice if she drops out and shes going to realize it when shes workin at mcdonalds or some fast food place
*ashlee* answered Wednesday March 9 2005, 10:53 pm: what you do. in the morning when you make breakfast slip a couple of sleeping pills in her food somewhere. shell fall asleep, youll carefully take her to school, and handcuff her to the desk. when schools out you come and pick her up. tell her the way you get her to sleep is top secret, so no matter what she does, you can always make her fall asleep, and she will always be taken to school. tell her she can go willingly or go handcuffed its her choice.
now wouldnt that be funny if it actually worked. [ *ashlee*'s advice column | Ask *ashlee* A Question ]
MummuM answered Wednesday March 9 2005, 10:19 pm: She can't drop out at the age of 16 or below. People are only allowed to drop out on their own after the age of 16. It could be different where you live though. Maybe you could try researching about people that drop out of school when they're young. How they end up not going to college or having a good paying job and such. Maybe once she realizes that dropping out of school will screw up her life, she won't want to.

FunkyHoMoSapien answered Wednesday March 9 2005, 10:17 pm: its not legal to drop out be for the age of 16. the best thing she can do is drop out and get home skooled. cause if she drops out now. she'll either go to prison later in life for makin stupid choices or never get a life and live on the streets. its that simple. so at least make her be home skooled. you and yur parents can maybe make it fun for her to wanna go to skool. i hope everythin goes well.
