well there isnt alot you can do....if she.he dosent want to be friends with you or whatever you dont need to be friends with them in the first place! ino thats not the answer you wanted but i cant change the way people think...sorry

ok first why dont you smile et them in the hall and in class briefly chat with them and comliment them ( only if its the truth)
and after a week or so ask them to do something like go to the movies and tell them to invite their friendS so ur 2 groups of friends can intwine and make a big group of friends...
