you should put ice packs or heating pads on the bruises and they might relax you.

There's really nothing you can do. And if someone tells you icy hot DONT USE IT. it makes your muscles contract, putting you in more pain.

I know a lot of people who when after sports, or after just jogging/running who use icey hot. I'm not sure how well it works, but I know that some of the coaches at my school, or at least my old school reccomend it.

To get rid of the pain or soothe it, you can use Icey Hot, one of those creams that heats up when you apply it on your body where you have pain in and it helps soothe the pain. You can take a hot bath and relax. You can also take a really strong pain killer such as Alieve; I know you said not to say that but it really helps get rid of your pain on contact. If none of those suggestions work, then you just need to wait a few days for the pain to go away.

Have a nice hot bath!

While you lie there imagine you are rolling up all the painful feeling and pull it all out of your body and send it down the plughole. Imagine you have a relxed ball of feeling and allow that to spread throughout your whole body.

If that fails wait three days and you'll be fine :)

Two things, you can do, which may stop your pain...

1. Take drugs. Any kind. Prescribed or not. Legal or not. I'm sure it'd help.

2. Don't play tackle football, if you don't want to get hurt. That's what happens. People tackle you, and you get bruises....

Hey !!

My brother plays tackle too lol but for the Peewees and not with the big boys but he still gets injured, anways...what we do to soothe his bruises is sauce packets, the tiny ones found at fast food restaurants. We put it on his bruises and it stops the swelling. To relieve pain you could try heat pads. Those work too. You buy one at Wal-mart or any store like that.
Good Luck with feeling better and with tackle :)

Besides your bruise pains, you probably have a lot of muscle pain- advil doesn't really help that much. Try using Bengay-you can get a patch or even the cream at any store.(try RiteAid or any major food store like Albertsons or Vons) The way it works is you rub it on your skin and it gives off the hot and cold sensation and the same time- thats what releaves and muscle cramp or sore. After you use the ointment walk around to get your muscle moving a bit- you'll feel much better.Hope i helped-good luck!
